Anyone know about smoking at the Fox? I've seen plays and such there but being it is a concert the rules are a little different....and I'm hoping with the light show there will be plenty of darkness to indulge myself in.
Yeah, I've been patiently waiting for them to book the Fox for a while.
Smoking rules are what you'd expect for an indoor theater (designated area outside, flashlights in the face if caught inside etc...)

The Fox is WAY strict compared to other venues because of the elegance of the venue and the historic aspect of it. I've run into MANY problems trying to do a lil' burnin' during events there. Once, during the Allman's, two ladies (audience)behind me started bugging me about the smoke and i was forced to tell them that they were old and should be watching DVDs at their house if they had a problem with weed @ an Allman Bro's concert. The eagle eyed security gaurds are constantly trying to bust people. I passed a fatty to two girls @ a Black Crowes show last year and they were spotted and ejected immediately. Better them than me but...

My wife sometimes says we're the only one's burnin' down but i think it's an essential part of the whole experience and getting everyone around you baked out of their gourds a) ingratiates you to your neighbors and b) thin out the crowds around you. Most of those folks "ain't never smoked no weed like that before". A lil'

I hope i didn't scare you off. Like I said, i've smoked @ EVERY show i've been to there. Except the Big Boi ballet last month. Nope, I stand corrected. Caught a couple of puffs in the bathroom. As long as you aren't blatant with it and aren't stuck on an isle seat, you should be okay. With both Cigs and doobage.
Just don't flaunt it. 2-3 puffs should do the trick unless you smoke dirt.
In that case, you're on your own.
