Funny story .... One of the guys I get my tattoos done by is big ... Like 6'5" 450 lbs .... He recently went to Japan to do a guest spot at another tattoo shop, so because of his size and for his personal comfort he bought the seat next to himself so he could have both.

Rant: I do think that I may trade those puppies for a pair of seats though. I value having a spot to put my stuff, including my ass once in a while.
If anyone is interested, I'd consider a trade of my GA floors for a pair of seats in the high 70's/low 80's sections or sections in the 50's (i.e. - lower level seats close to the stage).

The entrance for the GA is separate from the seated Floor area.
There are big security guards that help keep the seating and the GA separate. Plus they put barriers up between the seats and the standing room area. If you are in the seated area on the Floor...You're not gonna get into the GA.
Gone are the days of slipping a $20 to the ushers.
The front seating area on the Floor is Flat.
The rear seated area on the floor is on risers.
Hope that clears up some questions.

Neither the presale nor onsale today yielded any good tickets for me. :( And I just did a quick search on stubhub and ticketsnow and noticed that neither one was selling any tickets in the Loge sections in the 50s, 60s or 70s which is what I was trying for. Did anybody score any tickets in those sections? If not, have they not put those on sale yet? What's up with those sections? :-/

i think so too--there is a huge chunk of tix that are still out (somewhere)--other than a huge mass of us plus a few others, people didn't rush last week to get NYE tix--i'd be shocked. WEIRD
Just picked up 2 GA tix off of TM. Pulling up loge seats right now; there might be more GA though....
Depending on if I'm able to make it to this show, I'll have either 2 or 4 tix to sell (at cost) to a fellow MMJ fan(s) on the board. Right now I have:
-2 tickets in Section 7, Row K
-2 tickets in GA
My ideal seats would be sections 61,59, 74, or 76.
that is really weird. I wonder why they are holding tix back at this point. I understand for pre-sales and things like that but usually once the regular sale is on its best available. I've gone and and came up with section 336. I figured GA's were def gone. I don't think you will have any issues getting rid of 2 GA's.
I already have my tickets, but just for fun I checked w/ ticketmaster and found a bunch of seats in the double digits (95 mostly). . . good news for people still looking for tickets.
TM will release tickets for a while. so keep checking if you want to upgrade

It appears that 1-4 are GA. I have yet to actually see a GA ticket for the NYE show but it's possible the ticket does give a section AND say GA. I've been to shows before where the floor was GA but sections are still given on the ticket because seats are usually set up for that specific venue.
I got my tix the other day and it says a section on there somewhere...it says GA but then its like Section 4 I believe on mine.
My tickets came in the mail today.
I ordered GA Section 2 off stubhub.
The actual ticket lists:
Section - GA
Row - GA9
Seat - 33 and 34
I can't really make sense of how the GA and seat # interact, but maybe it's a way of tracking the number of GA tickets they sell or something.
I don't see any mention on my ticket of section 1-4 or anything like that.
I apologize in advance if this has already been discussed, but I have not noticed it yet.
for the GA people: do you know if they are going to take our tickets and give us a wristband? has anyone been to a similar setup show at the Garden?
