Ahhh.... I hate dating.... hate it. Probably why it took so long to break up with my last girlfriend. So I hate doing this... but why not throw it out there... I'm looking for a new concert companion, perhaps major love interest?? I'm very lovable when I find a sweet sweet woman who stirs my soul. So.... maybe there's a woman here for me who loves the jam and would love someone to jam with? :)
I'm a 32 year old guy. Besides MMJ I also love Pearl Jam (seen them 14 times) and sometimes heavier stuff like Tool. Jammy rock bands, I guess that's my general taste. My taste in music, like my personality, becomes increasingly more easy going as I get older. My goals in life are simple... make my money, and use it to live comfortably and make life as comfortable as possible for those around me. When I find time to chill, I feel like I've earned that right to chill, and I will actually use it to chill. My last girlfriend is intense as fuck. So I'm burned out on intensity. But I'm by no means burned out. I feel revived actually. And plenty ready to find a laid-back girl who is looking for a guy who thinks like me. Who is me. Who knows...
And maybe I've totally embarrassed myself.... we'll find out when I read this thread tomorrow. Go easy on me people... I'm just a lonely soul right now...

seriously though, I hear you on this. I got sick of dating right before I met my wife; I went through this I-am-not-going-to-play-the-game-I-am-going-to-just-be-

I'm in the same position...single and I love it. Honestly man don't put yourself throught this. Not when it comes to shows and your favorite band. It is not worth the hassle, just go to the show alone if you have to and have a good time. I've done the "I need to find a girl for this show" thing before and it usually never ends up going the way you want it to. Just my opinion.
