yep, it was definitely a little to short, but FUCKIN SWEET! first time seeing them and it was absolutly amazing, easily one of my favorite acts throughout the weekend.

no one even knew who they were, but by 2nd song it filled up quickly and by the time anytime and one big holliday had played it was packed and everyone was going crazy! as good as it gets for 45mins.

it was probably best that they just played 45 mins of their best trax just to give people a heads up of what they are about.

Hopefully these guys can make a quick stop in Vancouver after playin in seattle!

I also got to see this show from the very front up against the barrier in front of Jim. It was spectacular. I had lost my group of friends after the show due to my pushing up to the front so I went to watch Black Mountain by myself and who should come walking by but Carl. I swiftly ran over in the least pathetic way I knew how and asked if he was indeed who I thought he was. I was right so we chatted for a few mins about the set and he was very gracious mentioning that he had seen me out front when I was jumping/singing along and asking my name.
I was walking on sunshine the entire day after that incident. It's nice to meet someone that you idolize and have them be such a nice person. What a great day.

I remember when I met carl - I too was walking on sunshine the rest of the weekend.  He is by far the most humble big time musician I have ever met...not that I've met that many, but hey...

So I started telling someone about the MMJ show yesterday and I started to get really worked up and emotional. This ever happen to you? My GF was crying during the show. Looks like I am driving to the states to see a full show asap.

Did you happen to be standing near the front beside a 12 year old kid and a dude with a red beard? Because I'm the red bearded dude and I saw somebody with a crying girlfriend during the show.
