Everybody's entitled to their own opinions, but it's a shame that you couldn't get the title of their new album correct whilst slating it.
Thanks for the review, however it is riddled with errors about the band and their music. Poor journalism.

I don't think this article was written by a native speaker--there are far too many grammatical, structural mistakes. Several incomplete sentences, comma splices, and spelling mistakes. Makes me think that English is not her/his first language.
That said, the photography was beautiful, and as that seems to be the author's forte, he/she deserves props for the artwork.

spot on, I am Italian and I am first a music photographer, second a music lover. So my english is quite bad to native speakers, nonetheless I try to say what I think as frankly as possible.

I am actually a fan of My Morning Jacket for quite a while. Got to them years ago through someone comparing to the Flaming Lips.
But I am also into so much more music so when writing I try to balance my passions with some coherence.

and for the life of me I cannot grasp the idea that some feel it's their duty or job or responsibility, etc... to go to a bands fan forum and dis their music. Now I understand if you want to piss people off and all that, if that's your thing, but so many people come here with some sort of "journalistic responsibility and duty", as if they are doing me some favor to slag on the band and tell me how the music disappoints them. You may have the right to do that, but to keep it simple, it's
uncool. It's like, "Here, I know how much you love this band and all, since this is their fan forum, let me tell you how disappointed I am with their music".
