Apparently they confused the "Midwest" with "Western Europe". ;)
11/1 Brussels, Belgium - Cirque Royale
11/2 Amsterdam, The Netherlands - Paradiso
11/4 Copenhagen, Denmark - Small Vega
11/5 Oslo, Norway - Sentrum Scene
11/6 Stockholm, Sweden - Berns
11/7 Lund, Sweden - Mejeriet
11/9 Berlin, Germany - Lido
11/10 Frankfurt, Germany - Batschkapp
More dates to be announced soon!
I wanna go.
Some of those venues look amazing
I'm thinking it may be just as expensive for me to fly to NYC as it would be to Europe. Hmmmm. I gotta go buy a lottery ticket!!! :D
That news has made my day. If they don't announce any UK dates, I'm heading for the continent.
According to this page - http://www.brixton-academy.co.uk/listings.php - MMJ are supporting The Black Keys on 12th Nov at the Brixton Academy. Mmmmm - no London headline ? I hope there's more...
I think I go to Berlin, I have to drive 4 hours.
My second show after RCMH.
2006 I saw them 3 times in Italy opening for Pearl Jam, but that does not count as a MMJ show...
I'm in heaven!!!!!! - FINAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLY!!!!! :D
I have waited so long for this moment. My autumn is saved, I don't need anything else than this. GOD, how much I love these guys! <3
Lund, Sweden and Copenhagen, Denmark - here I come!!!! Need to buy tickets as soon as I get my salary in one and a half week.
Yes, yes, YES!!! Can't bloody wait!!! :D
Woohoo!!!! :) :) :)
Really hoping for some UK dates now.... this has just made my day :) :)

A mate has just texted me that they're playing manchester and Glasgow in November - nothing on the website yet.
They'll blow the Black Keys away in Brixton. Good band, great sound but no memorable songs.
Here's hoping for a midland show - otherwise manchester ....
Cheers,
John
I just got a message from Orange/Gigs & Tours telling me I could reserve tix for Manchester University on Thu 13 Nov 2008, here's hoping for a Midlands show!

As a huge Jacket fan I can say that they will not blow the Keys away....the Keys flat out rock. I think its great they are opening for them and vise versa at Red Rocks. I think the Keys are a lot bigger overseas.

EvilGirl, could you let me know where you got those flight details from ?

Finally I get to see my favorite band...after years of waiting and waiting! :)

The best part, though, is that I live like five minutes away from the venue in Lund so I can invite the guys to after party with me in my dorm afterwards. YEAH! ;D

Hey IHL, where'd you get the London tickets from? Been looking everywhere... :-/

Wow, by looking at these pictures makes me wanna go seeing MMJ at Paradiso very much.
QuoteHey IHL, where'd you get the London tickets from? Been looking everywhere... Undecided
If it's the Black Keys support show, you can get them here:
http://www.ticketweb.co.uk/user/?region=gb_london&query=detail&referral_id=brixlist&interface=brixacad&event=269062
Although I live in England, I am thinking of attending either the Glasgow or Berlin shows as flights to either are really cheap and they are not midweek gigs like the other shows. On looking at a map of Berlin, it appears that Schoenefielld airport is quite a long way from the venue at Kreuzberg. Does anyone know if you can get a train or bus from the airport to Kreuzberg and whether it would be expensive?

Thanks, thought about this just as I posted and figured it might be the support show :)
Hope they put on their own London show as well... or even another Nottingham Rescue Rooms show, it will definitely be one worth travelling to.

I'm insanely happy for you.

Thats very useful..thank you.
This is so good news!!
Never thought they would come back before next year.
So oslo and stockholm here we come.
Might do Lund aswell, and will be renting a car in that case, so feel free to join anyone who wants. I´m driving Stockholm-lund-stockholm
For thoose of you outside who planing to travel and see them I can really recomend the local in Stockholm "Berns" were they be playing, it´s the best concert place in stockholm, not just me who thinks that but like all concerts reviewers.
Great sound and beutiful surroundings + the have like 10 seatings just at by stage.
Does anyone know if that is it for a London show?
Is it just going to be "supporting" the Black Keys? And if so, will that mean a short set?
I'd like to go if it were going to be a joint billing....but I'm nor sure about a support slot!
