Title: Very pleased with the setlists so far
Post by: BadfooT on Aug 20, 2008, 09:37 PM
I know there was a lot of bitching about the predictable setlists from early summer.  As someone predicted, now that they are back in the states and changing it up, it's all good in the hood.  It looks like we are in for a few rare numbers every night as well as the stock(which still rocks) Jacket.  Can't wait for next week.

I was worried about what the setlists were going to look like, but I've been pleasantly surprised.  October 4th seems so far away.

These set lists are amazing!  I can't keep from finding shows I want to go to, just because I know they'll play something rare that I want to hear.

Awe, shucks!  I'd love to.  There just aren't enough funds available.  I'm still trying to figure out what in the hell I'm going to do to get up to and where to stay for NYE.  :-[

There's hotels near the jersey airports for less than $100, and just a quick train ride to MSG

People have been telling me that I might have trouble getting back to Jersey afterwards, though.  But I do like those figures!

If you can deal with a really crowded train you should be okay! Or you could pay a ridiculous sum of money and try to convince a taxi to drive you (though that may take until morning  ;D)

I see "Steam Engine" isn't present in a couple setlists here and there, and I'd be pretty bummed if I don't hear it. I was at Radio City, and it was awesome, but I'm going to Boston and NYE and I hope it gets played at both shows. Wanna hear some rare songs too!

Picture of You would be FANTASTIC

If It Smashes Down?!?!?!

I'm excited to see what comes

I've been to four shows now and there was no Steam Engine at #1 or #2.  I thought I was cursed.  But of course, I too, got one at RCMH and again the other night in KC.  Small tears both times.

If you get a "If It Smashes Down" it will be a real treat considering they have never, ever played it live.  (And when I say never, ever, I mean that based on all of the available setlists that exist.)
