Does anyone know the parking situation at the Philly venue?

There appears to be a lot with 300 spaces adjacent to the pier, but if you're willing to walk, I can attest to the fact that there's plenty parking to be had nearby.   There are lots of attractions like clubs, etc at the penn's landing complex.

I'd like to make a day of it with my wife, but we might be standing in line since its general admission.  I want to be as close as possible.

Your best bet is probably Dave and Busters. Its a restaurant with a bar/large arcade but you can park in their garage. If I remember correctly its a flat rate of $8 and its a few blocks from the venue. Its actually worth checking out on its own if you're not familiar, it's a good time.

C-Bear, I sent you a PM a couple of days ago.  There are myriad options for parking in the area.  See y'all there!

Lots of parking (lots and street) down by Penn's Landing.   :)

Haven't hung out in that part of Philly in a while and I think my favorite dive/rock n roll bar (the Kyhber on South 2nd St.)  may be a little too far for pre-game, might work for post-game though.  (www.thekhyber.com)

If you're going, definitely try to get out of the Columbus Ave. area...  very touristy and bland.

the khyber definitely has one of the better juke boxes i've seen in philly, and the beer selection isn't too shabby either. i've seen a couple shows there too (the best of which had to have been sam beam and james mercer in 2003). when wxpn's all about the music festival got rained out a couple summers ago i hung out at the khyber for a while, long enough find out that jim james was gonna stick around an extra day. glad i did. a jim solo show is always a treat

psyched for this wknd. philly > boston

as for parking, dave and busters is prob a good bet, as it's right there, and there aren't a lot of other options.

as for pregame, there is a great bar, literally next door on the water, tons of outdoor seating and multiple bars. we will be there...i forget the name...??
