I saw a really cool commercial last night featuring "Magic Trick" by M Ward. I'm almost positive Jim contributed vocals and guitar for that one. the commercial was basically a music video that featured nearly the whole song and the company's logo at the very end. The company is Zune, which from what I can tell sells mp3 players. You can watch the commercial on the company's website. Here's a link (it's listed as SSSR by M Ward):

Thanks aMD! It sure sounds exactly like Jim. Btw, I love this tune, it sounds like a modern/retro classic!
Nice find! That is Jim. And that is my favorite Post War song!
Thanks very much for this.
I'm SO late to the M. Ward party. I have Transfiguration...& I got Transistor Radio in the post a couple of days ago. Post War is next, I can't stop playing the Chinese Translation video on youtube!

"The M. Ward A side, "Magic Trick," with My Morning Jacket's Jim James supplying guest vocals is an alternate version from Ward's Post-War album with an even further understated production element. Perfect for all y'all completists out there."
that's for that, db. I think they call this the Kansas City Mix. I knew it existed but I yet to find it.
