If I were ever to see a show during a tropical storm, it would have to be Jim and the Boys. Skank of America Pavilion is sort of indoor, sort of outdoor, covered by a pretty serious "tarp". This should be interesting...see you all there.
bonnaroo was epic. as if jim had the rain on a string, commandeering it. (which i don't put past him)
with that said, BRING IT ON!!!
bad hair weather---but like you said, it made bonnaroo a religious experience--hoping i'll be under the pavillion mostly
I am not as confident as to say "bring it on". They are calling for high winds and rain.
Buffett just got moved to 3 pm because of the weather complications of an outdoor show.
BoA Pav- on the water - could be bad. I'm pretty bummed, actually. At best, it seems like it might cut the set a little short.
saw mmj at the recent roo - epic rain that was controlled by mr james.
saw the jim james newport folk festival show - torrential rain - although not controlled by jim (is he slipping?)
now tomorrow - might be a total CF. thank god im way down in front :)
Come on people...we live in the Northeast put on a rain jacket. So we get some rain and crazy wind...it will make for a great show and even better...LESS PEOPLE and more room for us!
Your going to be wet from sweat or rain so what's the big deal!
Aren't the best shows when the going gets tough and the tough get rewarded?
Rain won't be the issue...
It's the wind that bears watching. BOA is like a giant sail cloth. This isn't a shed.

That tarp is not cloth but a super heavy duty structure meant to stand up to wind, rain, sleet, and snow. It's a permanent structure but sure will be glad to be few rows back in Sec 2.
Oh, I don't mind a little rain; but, remember that a chunk of the seats are outside the tent in the uncovered section. I'm just worried they'll cancel! If it's on, I'll be there, sweaty and/or wet!
anyone think there is a chance they'll cancel???

No Chance. Get that out of your mind. ;)
No chance they will cancel, the boys want the dramatic weather. She is supposed to hit with winds and heavy rain in the overnight hours of saturday night and sunday morning. Lets hope the overnight hours do not include 7:30-10:30pm! I just hope it doesn't interfere with the Patriots game. I have been looking forward to this weekend's schedule for a long time, MMJ at BOA Saturday 9/6 and the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday 9/7 both in excellent seats! :D
