I just got a text from my friend at the Iowa City show right now, apparently Jim James fell off stage and they had to go to intermission and now they might cnacel the show.
I'll let ya guys know if i hear any updates.
holy crap, yeah anyone let us know. I don't know if I believe this!
Damn. Right before I'm supposed to see him three nights in a row.
I'm sure he'll be fine.
They canceled the show, heard from a friend. Don't know what's wrong, fell off the stage after Off The Record.
Fuck me, hope he's ok. Got tix for both Chicago gigs
If any one can rock out in a neck brace, it's Jim James.
I hope he's ok. I really really do.
I hope he's OK! Sending some good vibes out to Iowa! I saw him fall on stage once and he got right back up! He's a tough bear!
no one tried to catch him? anything break his fall? hope hes OK
I hope he is okay....I really, really do too.
Sending healing energy your way, Jim.
I'm bringing this set up to the Chicago shows:
He probably slipped on a glow stick.
I need an update, stat :-/ :o :o
Hope all is well.
We were at the concert. He had just finished Off The Record and was on the front left part of the stage by the speakers, the lights went out and he fell off the stage. We heard a couple crew guys ran up and dragged him to the back. They stopped the concert and went to assess what was wrong with him and then after about 15 minutes the rest of the band came out to say that they were taking Jim to the hospital and they were cancelling the show. No idea what the exact injury was. Damn, hope he's ok, hope they come back to Iowa City, they were sounding great!
~ Yep. Happened about 45 min's in. Canceled the show 10 min's. later. The band came out, apologized, but no word on refunds.
James slipped and fell into the speakers just below stage level--doing one of the signature guitar moves ending a song during "Off the Record". Was immediately carted to UI Hospitals. "On the Stretcher" immediately came to mind.
Sorry, guys. :'(

I was (unfortunately) thinking the same thing. . .
hopefully he has a speedy recovery and isn't injured to seriously

Sadly left hanging. :-/
Got a few calls from IC as well.
Conflicting reports.....security guy doesn't know what he's talking about.
???
:-/
QuoteGot a few calls from IC as well.
Conflicting reports.....security guy said he was pissed about something and just bailed on the set.
That he did not fall off the stage and that he just had a meltdown.
???
That can't be true because the band said they were taking him to the hospital, right?
That is not true, I had friends there that saw him fall.
i know this sounds fuckd up, but i kinda hope he did get hurt cause if i find out he just left cause he was pissed im gonna be upset i paid $45 for six songs all because jims mad at his dad cause he didnt get that pony when he was 6.

If I've learned anything about MMJ, it's that they care in a hardcore sort of way about their fans. I'm sure you will be compensated in one way or another.
And, yeah, that sounded fucked up.

Yeah that sounded fuckd up. I hope your legs grow together >:(
i was it the 3rd row right before he fell. he was rocking out and haveing a good time. he did not seem pissed at all. crazy
Well, guess that will be the first AND last show at that venue.
Hope he's feeling better and ready to rage in Chicago.
Man, I hope he's alright.
Hawkeyes - Seriously, that's just fucking rude. Please don't grace us with your presence again.
Yeah really. I mean, some of us don't even get the opportunity to see this amazing band; even for 1 song. And you're worried about your $45 instead of wondering about one of your favorite musicians is okay or not. Weird man.
Hi everyone...
Before this gets heated... or silly (Jim leaving a show mid-set because he was pissed? I don't think so), I wanted to post a quick message from Jim and the guys.
Jim fell between two of the subs at the front of the stage and hurt his leg. He's just had some x-rays and is resting at hospital.
Big thanks to the intrepid fans who showed up at the ER and to everyone who's voiced concern.
We're still waiting for word on Chicago, but I promise as soon as we know, you will.
Best,
LP (formerly dasmondhaschen, currently tom's wife)

Welcome back! And thank you so much for the update!
thanks for the update linda.
Yes, thanks for the update.
Let's go ahead and forget the rudeness above and focus on Jim being okay.
Hope Jim's alright. Could the moon boots have been the culprit?
Thanks for filling us in on the status, LP. Very much appreciated.
yes, thanks LP for clearing the air. get well jim!
Thanks LP. Hopefully JJ is ok and will be able to give the peeps in Chicago the goods.
I was front row, directly in front if Jims mike. He was going crazy on a solo at the end of off the record bouncing around the stage.
There we NO lights in the front of the stage. He stepped off, his foot went between triangular subs, and slipped on the subs, so nobody could catch him. I along with a couple other front row guys helped him sit up, and he disappeared off stage.
Patrick came out and told the crowd they are looking at Jim... another ten minutes went by and the band came out and cancelled the show.
It didnt look good and I hope he is ok.
The fact is the stage was faulty, and I place full blame on Scope productions for this.
That's a real shame! Hope Jim is OK & gets well soon...
I think someone had it right earlier. The glowsticks are clearly the culprit! >:(
Aw sorry to hear this.
*feel good vibes for Jim*

Hey Dee!!! I was thinking about you today (i think about you anytime I put my mp3 player on shuffle!)
Good to see you :)
Hi Andrew!! Good to see you too :)
eveyone needs to watch this and envision Jim's leg feeling better. We'll all do it together... get well Jim!

Quoteno one tried to catch him? anything break his fall? hope hes OK
This was my first thought.
I was there and just got back from the show. They said he was 'rushed' to the hospital (which in a good case scenario was right across the street)
There were those like 5 foot high aluminum metal barriers between the stage and the closest fans, so no one really had a chance to catch him.
As soon as he was helped by the crew, he jogged backstage - so in this sense I would guess he not terribly hurt - they probably did this mostly as a precautionary measure, ie concussion and such
It happened at the end of a rockin Off The Record Jam, and apparently the Skeletor boots failed him (actually, I noticed when I finally got back to my place the soles of my shoes were cracked from jumping so much)
I have faith in the band that they would only have cancelled if Jim couldnt go on, but for a college town, there were probably about 1200-1500ppl there only, and I got there 10 min before 'showtime' and was able to get centerstage 15 ft back. Even during jams, kids were just standing there like they were watching Mozart
Im def bummed since this was my first show - and it was general admission and I was able to get so close - but hopefully JJ is okay, and okay enought for the band to play Chicago since I got friday tix

No glowsticks
I dont think glowsticks have made there way to Iowa yet
Holy shit! Hope Jim's OK. I once saw Tommy Lee fall 20 feet to the ground, the show got canceled of course. All great rock bands have an on stage injury. David Lee Roth busted his nose on a light rig. Hetfield burned his hand. Alice Cooper broke 6 ribs falling off stage in the 70s. Its a very rock and roll thing to do. ;) ;)
I was very impressed w/ the band and the fans. It was clear people were concerned...This was our 1st show and we were in the front row, did not see Jim fall, due to the lack of lighting and being so close. My wife and both hope the best for Jim. Also, Scope should consider how the stage could have been easier to see. Hope the band @ least comes thru Iowa again in the future....we'll be there.

They spook the herd. ;)
Just got back from the bar, drinking some sorrows away briefly after my favorite musician sustained a show ending injury :(
I'm very embarrassed by the fellow "Hawkeye" that was bitching about his money. I very seriously doubt that the guys wouldn't continue if it wasn't necessary. The fact that Patrick came out himself instead of having one of the production guys do it was a major indicator of this.
Disagree and Agree with the guy who said the crowd was small and lame. It was fairly small, but this is a small town in Iowa and they were playing a huge (and oddly selected) venue. Would've been much better to play one of the smaller venues downtown. It wasn't the most energetic MMJ crowd I've been in, but being on the rail in front of Carl everybody around me seemed to be having a good time.
The boys were spot on tonight, can't believe they played At Dawn! I managed to snag a setlist just to see how disappointed I would be, and saw both Run Thru and Dondante on there.. so I have a feeling we missed out on some major jam sessions. I don't care if I get my money back. Now I'm just debating a possible Chicago trip to catch them there if those shows don't get canceled as well. Get well soon JJ!
Hahaha they spook the herd, couldn't help but laugh at that

That guy was me
Hah, well yeah, when youre on the rail im sure everyone is there bc they came early and are gonna rock out.
And mostly, when youre on the rail, YOU DONT SEE WHATS GOING ON BEHIND YOU!!
Like I said, I was about 15ft back centerstage, and more than half the ppl were just standing like they were watching Mozart. Some ppl were rocking out like I, no doubt, but I was surprised how many ppl just stood motionless (esp bc this is a college town and these ppl are about 20, not 40). And about 85% of the crowd was even behind me, so I can only guess what they looked like. I understand 8000 ppl not showing up due to geography, but a lot of ppl just didnt seem to into it
On a better note, YES, the show I thought was BOOYAKASHA up to that point. I couldnt ask for much more after the Bermuda Highway>At Dawn>Golden openers, and I think they were just getting going with that Off The Record jam. And 'for the record' since Ive seen sound quality complaints, I thought it was perfectly fine. LOUD as FUCK, esp the low ends, but great and had they been given more time Im sure the roof woulda been blown off that barn and stampedes wouldve occurred
I expected a Dondante, but the Run Thru was 50/50, and I know youll probably make me cry, but can you please post the rest of the setlist???
And also, I wish there was someone here with more than 43 posts for me to sympathize with :'( :'( :'(
Get better soon Jim! I feel sorry (but also feel lucky) for everyone at the show as I caught a killer set last night.

Hmm...well this is conflicting with what 2-Tone's wife said earlier in that it was x-rays on a possible leg fracture
I guess we probably wont know until a final an official statement is released :-/

agreed, just saying

Much Love to Jim!!! Best wishes and hope for a speedy recovery!!!
and fuck the "at least one guy who said refund" in that article... you know the band will make it up in whatever way possible (or even impossible at that...) ;D
If it's a broken leg, Jim'll get a cast, so maybe he could finish up the tour in a chair. I've seen it happen before with other bands. If it was just a temporary thing, I'm pretty sure Chicago will still be happening. Most bands only cancel tours if there's a really serious problem.
I was standing right next to the paper guy (i know because he told someone who he was with) and i didnt hear anyone yell refund, only cheers of support for Jim

My brother and I were the other two front row guys who helped Jim sit up. It was completely dark but I know the top of those sub speakers were as slick as ice, especially with the boots that Jim wears. His leg easily could have slipped through the gap (about 1 foot) between the stage and the speakers. We met Jim and Carl in Kansas City and they were so nice to us, they gave us hugs and talked to us like we were their buddies. My heart goes out to Jim and the guys, I hope he's okay and I hope everyone in Chicago gets to see them melt some faces. That shit about Jim being pissed off makes me sick, he fell hard and the rest of the band had sincere scared looks on their faces. Peace and Love to all.
This is so horrible to hear, I just hope Jim is okay and makes a full speedy recovery so he can go back to melting our faces on a nightly basis again. My thoughts are with you.

Is that a high school paper's blogger or something?
"I thought someone got a free guitar"
"7 songs were played, mostly from Evil Urges"
Really? I only remember Touch Me, Part 1 and Evil Urges being off the last record, but maybe I missed the Bermuda Highway secret track
Sorry, Im still burning off some steam this show got cut short :(
This is terrible, poor guy! Falls can sometimes be worse than one realizes initially. It's probably best that he went to the hospital. I hope he heals quickly. This band cares a great deal about their performances and the fan experience at their shows, so I'm sure they all feel badly that the show was cancelled. At least the crowd got a few songs in though.
Heres the setlist as requested. For those who weren't at the show I'll make where it ended.
1. Bermuda Hwy
2. At Dawn
3. Golden
4. It Beats 4 U
5. Evil Urges
6. Touch Me Pt. 1
7. Off The Record <-------Jim falls at very end of a WICKED outro
----SHOW CANCELED----
8. Wonderful Man
9. Im Amazed
10. Lowdown
11. I Will Sing
12. Sec Walkin
13. Two Halves
14. Laylow
15. Gideon
16. Librarian (!!!!)
17. Dondante (!!!!)
18. Smokin from Shootin
19. Touch Me Pt. 2
ENCORES
20. Wordless Chorus
21. Highly Suspicious
22. Run Thru (!!!!)
23. Anytime
24. One Big Holiday
Damnit. One of the better setlists I've seen. Was hoping for a Cobra or a Phone Went West but its hard to be disappointed by this one. Maybe the Chi-city folks will get one this good. Capt Headdy (sp), agree with your points. I certainly had no motivation to look behind me, and I have no doubts that the people back there suck at life.
That's just too bad. I sincerely hope and pray that he's okay. Peace and love to the best performer on the planet.
So Rock Star!!!!! Love it yet am also concerned at the same time.
Best wishes Jim! We'll support whatever you guys choose to do.
Good vibes and thoughts go out to JJ.......
Best wishes to Jim. I hope he's alright.
When Zappa fell off stage it seriously altered his career. When Ryan Adams did it he ended up kicking drugs and doing the best tour and album he's ever done, IMO.
I hope it's his leg and not head. But with multiple reports that he jogged off stage it seems unlikely.
Get well Jim. Hope you're okay.
Poor Jim! Hope he makes a good recovery and is not too badly injured.
Get Well Soon JJ ! :-/
i too was at the show. he DID NOT fall off the stage. he tripped on some cords and just fell. i am in an all out angry mood because of this cancellation. this band is lucky im givng them 2 more chances in chicago. this was not my 1st show but its the first time ive ever seen shit like this. wow. i have a copy of the setlist here and it was going to be one helluva show. salacious d, we have to meet in chicago and ill give ya the lowdown on what happened

Just a point of clarification: Ryan Adams didn't kick drugs as a result of the wrist break; that didn't happen until about 3 years later but I would agree with his best tour following that ordeal.

Are you serious? Nice sense of entitlement you have there. Also, can it be possible that myriad eye-witnesses are wrong about him falling off the stage and you're correct? What about the people who actually helped him after he fell???
Quotethis band is lucky im givng them 2 more chances in chicago.
I think you're lucky you've even gotten to see them at all. Some people haven't.
Get over yourself.
it makes me sad to hear this.
jim, get well soon! we're all sending best wishes and good vibes your way. take care.
I hope it's not too serious and Jim makes a full recovery :)
I also hope that not too many shows get cancelled but i'd understand if they were. His health is more important and shows can always be rescheduled.
I don't get why people are being so negative?! He fell off the stage ffs! Give the band a break! It's not something they were expecting or had planned... It can't be helped and people worrying about their $45 or missing out on a few songs just seems selfish to me.

My eyes welled up this morning when I read this. We're sending a whole lot of love and healing wishes your way, Jim.
i'm pretty sure the only way JJ would leave the stage is if he was hurt or afraid that something was wrong. GET WELL SOON, JIM.
:'(
Oh my lord. Get better Jim! If you have seen Off The Record live, it's amazing that this hasn't happened before.
Of course my thoughts are with you Jim! Hang in there.
And let's do our best to ignore the assholes that are trying to stir shit up.
VERY unfortunate, I hope he gets well e-nuff to play the 2 shows in Chicago, I can't even describe how excited I was to see the solo show.
I feel like somebody stole christmas.

Kill yourself dude, this was the fourth time I've seen them. Of course I would've preferred the whole show too, but it was rockin while it lasted. The only thing that disappoints me is the fact that I had 3 Jacket virgins who were front row with me and grinning from ear to ear (as we all did ourselves) at those 7 songs they got.
Some of these super negative people in here really make me wonder. Never met a Jacket fan like that before..
I started a thread not long ago inquiring if Jim had ever busted ass from rocking out too hard. I guess it was a matter of time. I hope it is not too bad and there is a speedy recovery.
i was harsh on the first post. let me make it clear that i understand that jim wouldnt cancel a show unless it was necessary but it was a downer when i too was with mmj virgins and thats what they got to see. i was front row and yes, i saw the fall. it just didnt look like much, thats all im saying. im just hoping they come back to iowa city in the near future and show the virgins how its done. see y'all in chicago!
PS - get well soon, jim.
I want to ignore what haggardphunk said but that is some ridiculous shit and he needs to be called out on it. We're all here to express our concern for Jim, not bitch about what we've lost because of this. Dissapointment is fine, but "the band is lucky I'm giving them 2 more chances" - is your brain located inside of your asshole? Jim gives his all at every show... and shit like this happens to the best of us. Let's get back on track and wish Jim well. Hopefully we'll find out soon that Jim is recovering fine, although it may take some time...
love to the boys in the band and Jim for some rest.
Get well soon.

Let's not be too presumptuous. What makes you think he even has a brain?
Shit. :( ....Get well soon, Jim!
Echoing all of the good vibes, here. Hopefully this is something that will heal quickly. I just caught the Columbus show and was thinking how on fire these guys are and that there are some lucky folks in Chicago and across the Atlantic about to witness some great live theatrics.
Guys, you rock hard and I hope it is soon that you can get back to doing what you do best! Best karmic wishes to Jim and all the guys for a full JJ recovery.

Well, if you look at their single digit post numbers, it makes sense. They were probably the same people taking a dozen pics that wont come out with their cell phones and texting their U of Iowa friends as soon as he fell off stage, "dude, the singer at this show im at pulled some jim morrison type shit"
Like I said, he def had a steady 'jog' offstage, so I have optimism for the Windy City shows, but if last night was bad enough to cancel the rest of the show, who knows. My guess would be a sprained knee or ankle and they went to the hospital to check for ligament damage or a fracture, but if he broke something I doubt he would be able to jog, same if he hit his head and his equilibrium was effed.
Id expect theyll post something official today about the Chicago shows.
Im actually kind of surprised they didnt post the solo show cancellation here, but I dont think they announced it here either, so maybe thats why
Here's the story from the Chicago Trib, which states he was treated and released (Good sign for Jim's health, regardless of how it affects the Chicago shows):
My Morning Jacket member injured at Iowa concert
Associated Press

IOWA CITY, Iowa - Singer and guitarist Jim James of the Southern-rock group My Morning Jacket has been released from the hospital after being injured in a fall during a concert at the University of Iowa.
A Cedar Rapids newspaper reported James slipped and fell about 30 minutes into the show Tuesday night. The Gazette says he apparently hit his head in the fall, which happened between songs.
The rest of the concert was canceled.
James was taken to University Hosptials. Hospital spokesman Tom Moore said Wednesday that James, who's real name is James Olliges Jr., was treated and released.
Get better soon Jim. If I miss two shows in Chicago, so be it, as long as you keep rocking for years to come.
released from the hospital! that's very good news. thanks.
Quote
Guys, you rock hard and I hope it is soon that you can get back to doing what you do best! Best karmic wishes to Jim and all the guys for a full JJ recovery.
I second that! GET WELL JIM!!! Man, I just found out and I am I am sending positive thoughts your way! Thanks to Linda for her post earlier too.
Peace and love to the band!!

you really do learn something new every day. Best wishes and positive vibes out to JJ (or JO?). All you Chi-town folks need to stay positive.
If he had a steady jog it's unlikely he has any major lower extremity injury. IF he hit his head or face on anything and had cuts or injured teeth that could put him out of commission for a couple days until things get fixed up. (have a little knowledge in this field ;)
QuoteWhen Zappa fell off stage it seriously altered his career.
Zappa was pushed off stage and was seriously injured. His larynx was crushed and his voice dropped a 1/3 of an octave. It took him off the road for quite some time and left him with health problems for the rest of his life.
I think it's safe to say that I'm not getting any work done today. I've been hitting refresh for the latest news every couple of minutes.

heres a video of the band telling the crowd about Jim and that the rest of the show was going to be cancelled. Crowd seemed to be pretty understanding, which you have to appreciate. Get Well Jim!!
Well, from the information we have right now, it sounds like Jim is not seriously injured. That's a VERY GOOD THING! Get well Jim :)
Oh, and JUST IGNORE THE IDIOTS THAT HAVE POSTED STUPID THINGS ABOUT THIS. THEY'RE JUST LOOKING FOR A REACTION.
My buddy who works at Schuba's just called me and told me the management team indicated to him that Jim would be laid up for a couple weeks. So, I would assume that all 3 shows are cancelled.
MAN! What a disappointment, I was supposed to hit all 3 shows and my old many is flying in for the Thu and Fri shows.
Oh well, bad luck; I hope Jim is ok and wish him a speedy recovery!!
rock n roll giveth and rock n roll taketh away - hope you have a speedy recovery jim, your a bad motherfucker
Get better Jim!
I concur, gogogadget:

wow, speedy recovery. Albeit for extenuating (and serious) circumstances, if these shows are indeed canceled that would make 5 canceled shows on this tour.
Just 'laylow' Jim until NYE...we need you! Positive vibes.
First and foremost, get well soon Jim.
My wife and I are flying in from the west coast tomorrow morning and was really looking forward to the last two nights in Chicago. Since we've already booked our flight and hotel, we'll make the most of it when we get in tomorrow and see what Chicago has to offer.
At least we were able to see them in San Diego. We were in the pit, stage left where Jim usually goes and it was simply amazing.
Once again, all our love go out to MMJ.
Gundy and the missus...

Bummer for you Chicago folks. I was at the show last night, and while it was a huge disappointment as we drove from Minneapolis to see the show, the vibe from the crowed upon the announcement was very good. It was refreshing to see so much understanding from everyone.
I'm glad it wasn't serious. ...Total bummer for all the fans in Iowa and Chicago, especially those making a long trip to these shows (that sux).
You know the band will do right when they make these shows up to the people of Iowa and Chicago. 8-)
lots of haggard hate here today but im not phased. for the record, my brain is located in my head, not my ass. and i apologize for the 1st post, it was harsh. i was just bummed and being front row the fall really didnt look like much. We'll see, nothing offical yet. But it would be easy to cancel the last 2 shows of the tour.
he rocks so fucking hard. what an amazing dude. I hope he gets well soon and it's not that bad. get better Jim use some crazy mantra or some shit. get Bo to heal you.
I'm disinclined to believe Pitchfork until I hear from the band. Not holding out a whole lotta hope though.

I am glad he wasn't seriously hurt, get well soon Jim.
I hadn't been around for a couple of days and just saw this.
To the guy that said the fall didn't look too bad just move on dude we really don't want you here.Seriously
I wish Jim a speedy recovery and I sure hope he knows his true fans are only concerned for him and not refunds or explanations.Jim is a good soul and he deserves our understanding at a time like this. All the best to the man. :'(
Major Bummer.
My brother has been talking about the Chicago shows with so much anticipation. Well, I hope Jim makes a healthy and quick recovery so that they can continue their miracles and ministry to the masses.
The question is whether or not his guitar survived...
i wonder... did he fall on his guitar? because that's gotta hurt.
Dearest Jim James, I hope you have a speedy recovery. It pains me to hear of the fall, I wish you all the best and am sending some positive energy your way.
get well soon jim!
Tuesday night was my first MMJ show and I enjoyed every minute of the performance. I wish Jim a speedy and complete recovery and would love to see them back in Iowa City when he's feeling better.
Thanks guys!
Quotei wonder... did he fall on his guitar? because that's gotta hurt.
I guess it depends on which guitar. I think he uses the 335 on Off the Record which has rounded edges. It might be a little less painful than catching the corner of the V. Any way you cut it, falling off stage does not sound fun.

can't really see him fall, but you can see why he fell. the lights did suddenly go off.
scary tho, i think you can actually HEAR it

Damn...they were killin' it! It looks and sounds like he went down hard. The light on his guitar shows the momentum of the fall. (It goes down at 6:11). :(
The timing of the fall is pretty incredible.
Most people didnt even notice it looks like.

Yeah, I think you can hear a thump.
You see the glow thing take a DIVE...Shit that looked BAD... :-/
Jimmy Jam will be fine. He is now more like Keith Richards in he can't be killed by conventional weapons.

'The hospital is not MTV cribs'... ;D
It's weird to me that a shorter newspaper article like this revealed his real name. That was something I didn't learn till I came to this forum, and at the time it seemed like only half of even the serious fans knew that piece of info.

They probably thought they had stumbled upon a piece of real trivia and couldn't help putting it in.
That sucks. I wish I had gone in Portland. Now I feel doubly bad.

We won't yell at you...honest question for someone who may be unfamiliar with the catalog but definately into the Jacket...and to that I say, Welcome.
Okonokos is a 2 disc Live cut released in 2006 that highlights their live show. It was simultaneously released as a DVD which takes you further into the presence they have onstage.
Some people refer to Okonokos as a greatest hits-type thing, but I just refer to it as some bad-ass, mofo'in music. A must have... :)
thanks for being cool
- I do have the CD and DVD. i actually listen to it every time i'm in the car. cannot get enough of it, really.
i guess what i meant to ask is is there a meaning to the word "Okonokos"?? Is it a place, a person, something made up?

don't the lights suddenly go off at the end of every song? he's never had a show stopper before. there's gotta be more to it.
I have a friend who lives in Louisville, and I'd asked him last week if he'd seen or heard anything about Jim and how he's doing. Just got this in a message from him....
Walter,
I saw Jim James on Saturday night. He was at the Ben Solle show here in Louisville. In passing, I asked if he is ready for NYE and he said he can't wait; it's going to be a lot of fun.
I was hoping for him to preform with Ben but it never happened.

You have made my day. Please tell your friend he is awesome for asking about New Year's.
I think I am going to skip to the lunchroom now...
:D
It's such a relief to know Jim's feeling better. :) :D
I asked him if Jim seemed to physically fine...
he seemed fine. I didn't get a chance to really talk with him but i didn't notice anything wrong. Very cool guy to show his support of another Louisville Artist and to stand in the crowd the entire show.

Do you actually have tix for Hampton or are you going down there with a finger in the air and 1000$ bankroll for tix?
scored tix for me and the better half for all 3 nights through the mail order! I don't think I could convince myself to fly out from CA without tickets, that would be a rough one.
