Title: New Year's Eve Taping Policy
Post by: CC on Dec 23, 2008, 10:57 AM
We have some news regarding audio taping, specifically pertaining to the NYE show at MSG:

Audio taping for the NYE show will be permitted.  As usual no board patches will be given.  Only those patrons holding reserved floor seats (Sections 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12) will be permitted to set up/erect mic stands.  All others looking to tape will need to have equipment other than mic stands.  Thanks for understanding as this policy is designed to make sure everyone has an enjoyable New Years Eve!

Happy Holidays,
My Morning Jacket Management

I wonder if it's going to be broadcast on XM again? Or Sirius. Or whatever the fuck it's called now. 8-)

doesn't look like they're filming it. (just the MSG crew) I think CBS has a crew there, but as far as I know, there's nobody taping for a DVD or anything.

I thought someone posted that it was going to be broadcast on a New York radio station?  I may have hallucinated that, though.

101.9 RXP is broadcasting live FROM the concert, but they're not actually broadcasting the show. Sounds like Matt Pinfeld and Leslie Fram are going to do periodic updates from MSG.

But to make all those who aren't there feel like they are a part of the show, RXP's going to play "Okonokos".

If the guy next to me gets out of control, can I tape him... (w/ duct tape)?
