I think a good estimate would be that the show on NYE will end around 1-130 am....my question is, has anyone taken the train back to LI around this time on NYE before? I want to get a sense of just how packed and ridiculous it is going to be, should I even bother, or should I just stick around in the city until things die down and catch a later train home? Any feedback would be great....see all you mutts on NYE WHOOOOO
I'll be training to LI after the show as well. I took the train to LI after the Radio City show and it was pretty crowded and that was just a normal night, so I'd expect it to be pretty packed. I'm no expert though, that was the only time I've ever done it.
It's gotta be super packed. I've never taken it on NYE, but between the madness around Times Square letting out and the steady stream of LI'ers leaving bars/clubs all over the city....I've gotta imagine it'll be packed. I'm sure (hope) that LIRR has a steady stream of trains that night.
