I have been hearing rumors that MMJ may be coming back to Athens, GA after a year hiatus. Has anybody else heard the same thing? Dear God please say that it is true.
Jim did mention prom the other day on the radio as if it was a regular thing...... ;)
I'd be there in a heartbeat. I've always wanted to visit Athens.
I saw them the first of two nights a year ago when MMJ hosted a prom under the sea 'dance' at the 40 watt. Ill be at all nights if they do come back.
I've heard they're coming back to help that dude with hot dog stand they love so much get his license and stand back. Nothin beats charity. And some Jacket.

I had never been on a plane until last week when I saw MMJ in Melbourne and now I have the "I need to see MMJ live" bug. I have been saving for a trip to Seattle for about a year but hey maybe I could change that to Athens instead????? ;)

Seriously, a MMJ show would be the perfect impetus for a pilgrimage to Athens. As an REM, DBT, E6 freak, I'm long overdue to visit.

Oh man, it would be rad if they did Prom again. Loved it the first time around.
Do believe the 40 Watt is a bit too small for them now, but if this were to happen again I sure would try for a ticket!

Athens F'ing rules. Loved my years there and would live there permanently if I could. I'd love to see MMJ there.... if they come back I may have to take a trip down. For some reason, they've only been to Charlotte (where I currently live) once, for a music festival and I don't know why they haven't been back. They should come here!
They did the Prom in 2007 right? Missing 2008? I'd love for them to do this again.. I went to a real prom in 07' and let's just forget about all that.. I'd like to do it right this time..
