Jim James, Eddie Vedder and Ben Harper. Sad I can't make it. Though if I did go, I'd have to leave before Sheryl Crowe, Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney. It'd definitely be worth it regardless.

Oh, phew thank heavens the $4.50 is included in the $504.50!

If you left you would miss the fake Beatles with fake Yoko Ono :)

That is pretty incredible.  My mom would love to go for the Beatles, as would I.  It will probably be a great show.

It's not worth 500 bucks to go see JJ play for 20 minutes or so. I couldn't care less about McCartney and Ringo. Eddie Vedder might be entertaining, but he would probably just play new stuff.

I would happily watch Eddie Vedder sit there with an ABBA song book and play every song in it because somehow, he'd make it great. He could do every song ever done by ABBA, John Denver and N'Sync all in one show and I'd never want to leave. So, in short, who cares what he's playing? It's Eddie fucking Vedder.

I'm tempted to get the $79.50 tickets.  That's not too ridiculously exorbitant.

I would love to see Eddie sing some ABBA.
Take a chance, take a chance, take a ch-ch-chance-chance.

You can watch this in two half hour parts streaming anytime.

There is a nice little interview with Jim about 10 minutes or so into the first part.

Sounds like they are going to make a documentary including some of the performances in the near future.

This is great idea I think.  I hope we can implement this in my kids school.  Any teachers out there should watch the whole thing.  I'm curious what your thoughts are on the ideas.

I love the Butthole Surfers version of Hurdy Gurdy Man.

I can't even imagine how Jim contributed on this song.   ;D

I'm SO thrilled for Jim...

Jim James was a Beatle!
My Morning Jacket singer performed with Paul, Ringo

"His mind was blown again last Saturday at New York's Radio City Music Hall, when James performed "I Saw Her Standing There" with Paul and Ringo — the Paul and Ringo — at a benefit concert. For a few precious minutes, James was essentially an honorary Beatle."
