Just a note to say tune in this Sunday 10 May @ 5pm Sydney time (Eastern Standard Time) to triple j to catch the Jacket's epic live set from the Metro Theatre, Sydney, recorded on Jan 22.
Our ace live music team have put together a set of 11 kickarse tracks (from "Highly Suspicious" to "Knot Comes Loose", "The Way That He Sings" to "I'm Amazed"), around an hour's worth. If overseas, you can head to triplej.net.au and listen to our stream online... if you wanna get up in the middle of the night, that is.
Also stay tuned for a TV airing of the gig on "triple j with The Doctor", to air later in the year. If only had the airtime to broadcast the entire three hours!

It does sound amazing though. So glad to have a momento of their Aus shows (would have loved a recording of the Melb one, but not complaining ;))
I've been in search of anything from this show for a while now, and somehow only just recently got on this forum (rookie error not getting in here sooner!), so this torrent is EXTREMELY exciting for me! Currently only one seeder, and no movement yet, but hopefully it picks up!
This was my first MMJ show, as I just happened to be spending a year studying abroad just south of Sydney, and I spent this entire show on the rail, right in between Carl and Jim. If anyone has any other footage or audio from this show it would mean a great deal to me to get any of it. This was such an incredible show and an awesome experience for me. I was really into MMJ before this show, but after seeing this performance I'm a changed fan. Just enormously impressed by them. Jim James is a genius, and the rest of the band is just brilliant. :cheesy:
