As some already know, now it's official. I emailed the band's management and received this reply back this evening:
Hi Trish,
Thanks so much for reaching out. MMJ is on hiatus for the remainder of 2009, and will not be announcing any tour dates for this year. However, stay tuned to the website and new blasts for updates, as they'll definitely be out on the road again in 2010.

Im good man, how are you? I've been busy with work and life in general. How are things in L'ville? I gotta get back down there. Maybe that's where the tour will kick off. That would most definitely necessitate a return trip...

Things are fine, here. Looking forward to Forecastle. Any luck winning tickets to Bonaroo? I'm not sure where the tour wil start if/when it does...but if/when it does, no matter where they kick off the tour, hopefully they'll do a (some) warm-up show(s). We'll see. It will be a while though, I'm sure. :-/
