I also found this other piece of info dated 25/09:

New for Next Big Nashville
We're less than two weeks away from the start of Next Big Nashville '09, the multi-genre music fest Oct. 7-10 that will bring more than 150 rock/pop/urban acts to various Nashville venues.

The fest's revamped Web site now features a customizable schedule, as well as a full lineup of panels taking place at The Martha Rivers Ingram Center at Vanderbilt and the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum (among the folks participating: Charlie Peacock and Warped Tour head honcho Kevin Lyman.)

There's also a few new showcase announcements as well, including a Saturday night in-the-round at the Bluebird Cafe with Cory Branan, Carl Broemel of My Morning Jacket and Joe Pug.

So who's gonna go?
Why do I always miss the good stuff??? :(

I wish.  I love Bobby Bare sooo much.  I wish he'd get a little more recognition.  I think his songwriting is fantastic and his live shows are spectacular.  Throw Carl on top of all that and you've got a steamy plate full of wonderful.

BB warmed up for JJ at my very first show and I thought he was really good. Saw some great slide guitar that night...

Absolutely! Bobby writes amazing songs.
I cannot stop litstening to the American Bread Ep. At first it took me by surprise cause the songs were so different to the originals and now I love it.

I guess I'll be searching the internet for reviews... Maybe there will be some kind of youtube video or something.

Looking on the Next Big Nashville site I found this:

http://www.nextbignashville.net/bands/carl-broemel/

While on his short breaks from playing guitar with the band My Morning Jacket, Carl Broemel has been quietly experimenting with his own songs. The record, yet to be released, was made with the help of good friend and producer Teddy Morgan. Recently, Carl has been performing some solo shows around Nashville, accompanying himself with an acoustic and pedal steel guitar.

I assume it will have songs from Lose What's Left on it cause I also found this:

At the end of the song he talks about the album. :)

Thanks weenie beenie!  That's great news.  I figured he was working on something during this break.  That song reminds me just a bit of Andrew Bird.  I love the acoustic guitar in it.

Have you heard it on the Musical Family Tree website?
It was always my favourite song of his.

I can't wait!
