Cheers Stridor. Happy road trippin'. I'm doing B'more to Charleston to Raleigh and back home to Merriweather.
Nice Sticky...I didn't expect a Willie video ;D
Jersey to St. Auggie, then up to Merriweather for me.
Then for an encore it's Peter Gabriel on 5/2 in NYC.
5 days! 4 nights! 3 shows! 2 excited for words! 1 happy man!
NH to Birmingham to Nashville to Atlanta to NH (via Raleigh)
Take 3 months to recover, then...
MMJ and TP in Boston in August
The Hold Steady PA 4/16, Flaming Lips NJ 4/19, NJ to Nashville 4/21, NJ to MD 5/1, NJ to WA for Sasquatch. My body literally started to tingle while writing this.

that willie nelson video cracks me up so much. the line up is horrible and none of the people seem to know the words and there are barely any in the first place. haha they all look bored to me and it's under 3minutes long haha. maybe I'm just trippin on some bad acid but that rendition cracks me up. when John Melloncamp(sp?) is the dude tearing it up the most outside of willie something is up. ;D ;D
Birmingham>Nashville>Atlanta? [home] Raleigh>MPP>Columbus? [home] (Vancouver?)>Sasquatch>(Portland?)
The new math ;D
i like your Sasquatch>(Portand) thought. ;D i'm hoping for that myself!
We are doing Calgary>Sasquatch and then home. I am really hoping they are touring in North America past June so we can go on a longer trip. Maybe LA>Portland>Seattle>Vancouver. If we have to drive to the east we will do that too. The only thing better than road trippin to MMJ is the actual concerts you travel to see.

Nice johnnYYac! Didn't realize you were from NH, but how would I know that anyways. Just nice seeing other Jackets living in the granite state. Jealous of your road trip, we were looking at Merriweather and Kooka Booth, both venues are amazing!
My gut tells me the boys will be in New England when Petty comes around this summer. I won't be satisfied with an opening set at the tweakah centah, I need 3 hours of Jacket to be happy! Also, Meadowbrook and Petty schedules are open 8/20 so maybe a first MMJ (with Petty) concert in NH? Fingers crossed.
Miami > St. Augustine > Miami
Ok, so not as exciting as some of the other posts, but I'm still super pumped. Could do without the 5+ hour drive up to St. Augustine, but its sooooooooo worth it.

Dude, Im doing the exact same trip as you. Philly to Jazz Fest, then driving to Meriweather the next weekend. These will be my 5th and 6th out of state MMJ trips, Philly Jacket fans travel well!
I'll be at Jazz Fest (flying in from Annapolis), then back home for Merriweather, too. Then Sasquatch. :)
Hoping to catch more shows if summer/fall dates are announced. I do not hesitate to plane/train/automobile for MMJ (traveled for 10 shows + 1 local in '08).

Are you catching the Nashville show?
I now have a fridge covered in MMJ tickets for the up-coming shows!!! This will be my 10th, 11th and 12th out of state shows (including 4 shows at Bonnaroo). It's alot of fun traveling to places that you may not be going otherwise to catch a show. It gives you a great reason to make a trip that wouldn't otherwise be going on.
I went to the Louisville show in august '08, (which was AWESOME!) and then went the Kentucky statefair, which is somewhere I never imagined myself being and it was an great weekend.
Wooo road trips! I'm so looking forward to OK>Nashville>(New Orleans?)>[home], and OK>Sasquatch>[home]! (thanks, ALady ;D)
Has anybody else kept track of their MMJ miles? I calculated that I've driven about 9500 miles, and flown once to NYC.

Haha, "MMJ miles"...if you can verify your "miles" you should be eligible for free tickets, just like frequent flier miles. Lord knows I've furnished a few band members houses over the past 8 years or so lol.

i'm going to try to see some minor league baseball on this trip. looks like the Charleston River Dogs have a home game against Hickory on April 29. :)
remembering that take a late flight out of Burbank means having time for a beer there. [smiley=beer.gif]

The River Dogs have a great ballpark. Best stadium food in the minor leagues.
