It's an interesting deal, the 5 shows and all, but why not Louisville? I can think of many reasons why it makes better sense.
- Cheaper hotels for fans
- Home
- Great tourism opportunity for L'ville
- It's Kentucky

I still don't understand why some people are acting like MMJ just booked this in Montana or something.
It's FUCKING NEW YORK CITY, FOLKS.
No explanation needed.

this sums it up. the cultural, artistic mecca.
i would have loved for it to be in louisville, but i'm certain we'll get our opportunity to bask in their awesomeness soon enough.

As much as I'm bummed that I'm not going, and the fact that I really hate NYC, this is the best place for them to do it. The exposure they can, will, and should get will be much more in the media capital of North America vs. their hometown.
I always knew (hoped) they would do this, I just figured it would be in Louisville, just like Wilco did it in Chicago.
I don't think they can trust Louisville to sell out every show. The people here are weird like that. :-/
I dont need a 5 show stop in the ville, just one would be nice. :-/
