I was just checking out the show that is to be performed at Mountain Park in Holyoke, MA and I noticed that there is an opener for the boys...Grace Potter and The Nocturnals. I have never heard of this group, so I checked out their website http://www.gracepotter.com, and they sound pretty sweet...and you can't go wrong with a hot lady in a dress rockin' out.
I was wondering if members have noticed any other openers?

=P When I saw who I believe was Nicole Atkins walking when we were at that Peruvian restaurant, I was totally hoping for a brawl ;D
AND. Grace Potter is great, but at work, they keep playing a 30 second clip of her, and it's really annoying and I now hate her ;D. Hopefully I forget about it by August.
I'm just tired of every.single.dude.I.know telling me how awwwwesome she is.

I'll redirect this thread back to Grace Potter. A co-worker and I have been trying to get each other into new music. I've tried to convince her to check out MMJ when they open for Petty. What does she do? Gets tickets to Petty w/CSN in Saratoga!
Then she goes on and on about this Grace Potter. So I buy the CD. Very cool. I've only listened to it twice, both times with all three daughters in the car begging for Radio Disney. Still, I can tell this is good rock.
Looks like Holyoke would be my chance to get her to see MMJ. The only issue is we're both teachers and our first day back to work from the summer break is the morning after this show, which is about 2 hours from where we live/work. Not an issue for me, but...
I think this will be the first time I'm looking forward to seeing the opener...
