Good luck to the Pie's. I was just over in Sydney the first week of August at saw the Swans play the Hawks. The Swans won big! First time seeing an Aussie Rules game live! Great game. I played a bit of Gaelic football growing up so I picked up the rules quickly.
I also saw the All Black beat up on the Wallabies in those two Rugy games. New Zealand is good. Anyway, looking forward to rocking out
with you in NYC at the T-5 shows. Should be an epic week!

Yep, gonna be at Bridge for both nights! It does means missing the Evil Urges night and flying out at 6am Saturday morning but with the line up is gonna be so worth it. Buffalo Springfield!!! That is just mindblowing.

The Magpies wer my team when I lived down there, went to a few games...so much fun.
we're trying to win our first premiership in 20 years and only our 4th since 1935. Fingers crossed, its gonna be a big big party in Melbourne if we win. We get to this point so many times and then stuff it up. 14 out of 40 so far, so its not a great strike rate...

I can't believe this game ended in a draw. I was watching it live, until I passe out after 1 a.m., and Collingwood was kicking some ass. What happened? And how the hell can they end a Grand Final in a tie? Have they not heard of overtime? Seems insane to end a championship in a tie.
We were smashing them and then we stopped. Lucky to get a draw in the end. Draws aren't too common in AFL and there had only been two grand finals in 120 years that have ended in a draw so having a replay is very strange. But it's all worked out cause I've got a ticket to the game, which is an absolute dream. We've just gotta win now!
