Well, I just found out that mrs. Kal Cahoone sings, and is the frontfigure, in a Denver folkrock based band called Tarantella...I've never heard of them, but she sings like an angel in the Lilium cd called "Short Stories".
By the way have I been listening a lot to the Tennessee Fire album, an it is, as you mentioned, a great album. It gets greater and greater every time I'm listening to it.
And to every MMJ fans: Have a happy Christmas and New Year celebrations :D
The same to you, the same to you and to all of you guys out there!
Yeah, I read your mail. I'm very glad you like The Tennessee Fire and yes, I will listen to those albums when I get to it. I'm very much into folk these days, mostly thanks to the album Gone again by Patti Smith and some stuff by The Pogues. Ah, folk, now that's music! And you don't even have to look very hard to find some folk elements in MMJ too, I reckon. Or maybe that's just me. ;)
Anyways, thanks for the tip! :)
I've been listening to the two Pogues best of records a tone lately along with the swanky new 3 cd Talking Heads set
