I think I should read the books before I go see the movie, but I've tried to read the books 4 times and every time I stopped on page 100, or something. Fantasy is just not my thing, I suppose.
ah, but the movies are sooooooo entertaining, on many levels...not just from the fantasy aspect of it.

I remember the part animated film from the 80's. That was NOT good at all. I expected this one to be a bit like that one so it was very easy to have my socks knocked off...... which these ones have.

Love the extended versions of these. The story is filled out more and includes much of what was cut from the books.
