Alright boys, what's your favorite Dylan Album?
Well, I'm a girl, so maybe I'm not supposed to post... :)
But my favourite is Nashville Skyline. Close seconds are Desire and John Wesley Harding.
Of the older ones, anyhow. I really like the new stuff, too.
And I don't care what ANYBODY says, I loved Masked and Anonymous. LOVED it.
Studio Albums:
1. Desire
2. Good As I Been To You
3. Bringing It All Back Home
4. Bob Dylan
5. The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan
And I still haven't seen Masked and Anonymous, so I'm not a real fan.

Ahhhh. That's why you're not on the list. ;)

"The Basement Tapes" aside, my all time favorite Dylan record is and always will be
"John Wesley Harding"!!! there's just this timeless, haunting quality to it. it is virtually indescribable!!!
(favorite song: so hard, but it has to be "Never Say Goodbye" off of "Planet Waves"....makes my heart melt and my eyes well up every sing damn time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Dylan has way too much good material for me to pick a favorite, guess I'm just indecisive on this one

Oh how she dances
She reaches to catch the stars
When I play that thing
That Zimmerman swing
Reflected in mirrors behind bars
Blonde On Blonde
Bringin It All Back Home
John Wesley Harding
Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid (soundtrack)
After The Flood (although admittedly, The Band's contribution to this one is the reason I bought it)

Hey Drunkre-nice to see you back!
Seems 8 years is long enough... time to bump this thread.
I'm listening to a forgotten vinyl purchase from a couple of years ago. I don't remember what drew me to this. I remember listening to it when it arrived, but not since. So, I'm spinning this early Dylan, May 10, 1963. Dylan was 22 years old. I'm thinking, damn, I'm about to hear a live Masters of War that's 50 fuckin' years old!
