Actually, that particular section of your wall is a time warp from 1973.  It's a strange phenomenon that is not limited to basement apartments in Buffalo.  This time warp has even appeared in remote Meadowvale, Canada.  It's a good sign though - apparently if you sit and stare at it long enough, all will be revealed...  Bob Dylan said that.  Or somethin' like that.
