There is currently a new Muppet movie in the works and it is being written now. Jason Segal is writing it. I think everyone should try to contact him (don't know how...but I am starting here: http://www.myspace.com/juddapatow and here: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=9208675 and here: http://www.the-frat-pack.com/) and tell him/them about Jim's love of the Muppets.
This is a golden opportunity. I would love to hear a Jim James' Muppets soundtrack.

i heard feist was on sesame street and i thought, "uh jim? step that game up. the street NEEDS YOU."
Just a thought....
We need to send that guy a video of Jim performing the Rainbow Connection at Lollapallooza.
You know, Jim would be so cool on the muppet show or sesame street, he'd really fit in, he is part muppet. I think a musical collaboration with them would be spectacular. Jim loves goofy vocals and crazy sounds, I could definitely picture him jamming next to animal or grover.
Oh and I forgot, Jim has already been in Elizabeth town and "I'm Not There", so he has experience in the biz, I don't see why not, all the publicity the band is getting right now I could see it definitely being a possibility.
Since Jason Segel and I are going to run away together, I'll mention all of this to him.
i need some box wine, stat
we need to hear an mmj version of "movin' right along"
I've always wanted an MMJ version of "Can You Picture That" from the Muppet Movie
Sesema street did a cover of "she drives me crazy", by Fine Young Cannibals. Only it was during an episode focusing on the letter C, so it was "C drives me crazy". Great video. I think it is on youtube....classic. It's a shame The Street has changed so much over the years.
Maybe they could do something similar with "It beats for U". Jim could serenade the letter U in a romantic fashion.
How about Jim singing "It's Not Easy Bein Green" - I'd like to hear one for the Kermit!
;)
How about Jim just writing the entire soundtrack/score for this movie? yes
they should go a step farther and make a puppet of jim, maybe jerry garcia as well.
