Title: Secret Machines?
Post by: badnruined on Aug 03, 2005, 06:42 PM
I'm gonna see these guys open for Kings of Leon in Asheville in about 2 1/2 weeks and wanted to get some opinions on them... should I get familiar with their material before the show or just sit through them waiting for KoL to take the stage?

Secret Machines will officially rock your socks off.  Live, they are mindblowing.

One thing about the KoL/SecMachine double up is that both bands have such a different musical additude that they don't mesh well seeing one after the other.  Machines are like epic esoteric perfectionists then KoL steps up with a brash, southern rock hoedown.  Both are amazing in their own way but are a strange pairing.

Now Here is Nowhere is an AMAZING album! The double whammy of Nowhere Again & Road Leads Where It's Led is almost too much to take! Can anyone recommend their 1st LP September 000? Patiently waiting for these guys to come to Japan...
