Fucking rock.
Jellyfish, I think you should write a book about Neil Young. I would read that book. One day I may write to you and ask you to tell me everything you know about him.
I told Mark the "more barn" story when we were out in Saskatchewan, and then we kept shouting it all the time. If he went outside to pee, I'd suddenly hear him shout "MOOOOORE BAAAAARN."
It was very fun.
I just watched the video and have some questions. Possibly only one question, and some comments.
1. What're the Prairie Wind sessions? Did he do some recordings in the prairies? Which prairies? The Canadian prairies? And when? That's really neat.
2. There is no number two. That song just hit me pretty hard this morning, and I really like it. I love that Neil Young. I love the way he writes a song. And I love the way he sings a song.
Thanks jellyfish.

Thanks for the book idea,I don't claim to know everything about Neil...my knowledge comes from 25 years of being a fan of Mr.Young,my friends at the Rusted Highway and the book "Shakey".So it is all been written before me.I post these things over here cause I know their are a lot of Neil fans here that like the updates.
1st question: Prairie Wind sessions were in Nashville before Neil's Aneurysm surgery. These sessions Neil will use to create the album coming out in september Not sure what "prairie" he is referring to...prolly just a general term.
2nd question:Not sure what you are asking but I agree with your statement about Neil.
Thanks Jellyfish.
Man , that's beautiful! Still not sure how I feel about Greendale but it looks like Neils got his Mojo working on this one.
Again Jellyfish, I thank you. :)
Thanks Jellyfish!!
Loved this video and song! Neil keeps putting out relevant and timeless music, the man is pure genius!
:)
As much as I admire Neil and love so much of his music, I thought "The Painter" was a fairly mediocre composition by his standards. The beginning of the video where they were working out the harmonies was great to see, as well as the rest of the studio shots. As a complete music making outsider, I like seeing nuts and bolts aspects of the craft.
