I noticed that last night too! I was up till 4AM and when I went to bed with the window open, it was bright as hell outside. On a side note, have you guys seen that PJ has been playing "Harvest Moon" on their mini tour? Can't wait to hear it

When I was out west last month (I guess exactly 28 days ago, ha) I saw the biggest moon I've ever seen.  It was orange, and as it was coming up, I looked over and watched the sun (which was also huge and very red) setting.  Pretty amazing.  And last night I was on the streetcar when I noticed that moon.  Big and glowing orange.  It was beautiful.

thats the sturgeon moon, the full moon for the month of august.  when it first rises at night, its fucking massive and usually either orange or red.  i was listening to steam engine, coincidentally enough, and i about flipped when i saw it rising above the trees.

That page is fucking awesome.  Holy crap.

A wolf moon?  That is wicked.
Pink Moon.  A connection was made.

I am bookmarking that page.  I love the farmer's almanac.
