I hate to toot my own horn, but I'm pretty excited...
The site has now made the google top ten. I didn't have to pay someone to do it and I didn't do any research on how to get there, the site just made it on its own merits. Type "my morning jacket tabs" and it's the 1st result! it's in the top ten in all the other weird variations on that I've tried.
I'm averaging about 450 page views a day. :o

I don't think it's that simple actually. although, I do like the idea of being linked all over the place. It's has to do with page views, "reliability of your site", with the searchable text on your homepage along with a bunch of other stuff that's over my head. For example, originally the homepage made no reference to the word tabs just guitar chords. So i noticed that when I would search guitar chords it would come up but not when I searched tabs. so i reworded the opening paragraph and a week later I was number when you search tabs. There are also a whole host of ways to "trick" the system but if google catches you they will ban you, for example people used to put a ton of "hot" language at the bottom of their pages so that their webpage would show on any search (those of you who were around in the early days of search engines should know what I'm talking about). Anyway, for whatever reason, I didn't try to trick the system, I just made the site and now it is number one. I ain't asking how the cake got on the table, I'm just going to eat it. ;D
btw, I'm number when you type in "my morning jacket tab" no s, so that's probably the confusion, Chico. Maybe I need to reword that opening paragraph again.
Great job on the site! I check it all the time for updates, and hope maybe I can make some myself someday. Im a guitar/bassist/pianist and have been using your site to build up my skills. MMJ music is great to practice and jam along with. Just my two cents :) ==Edo, Clearwater, FL

Dylan I have to say that I love the tabs site. It's kind of like a lifeline to me... All I really need now is a relative clue as to how to play the guitar well enough to play more of the tunes up there. Speaking of...when are we going to get together and to do some peanut butter and jamming?
