One thing I noticed is that previous youtube embeds don't work anymore. New embeds should work fine. If you want to fix an old one you can edit it and remove the url except the last part, so [youtube]https://youtu.be/3LGDI_oz1Dg[/youtube] would become [youtube]3LGDI_oz1Dg[/youtube]If you want to embed a video from now on just click the youtube icon and insert the full youtube link. Same with images.

there's a login link in the top bar (when you're logged out)
Not seeing it on my computer, only says "HOME" and "SIGN UP".
I logged in by clicking on your name, then it asked me for my log in info.
Maybe cause I'm at work??

I had to do the same thing to login. When I just clicked the link at the top of the page it gave me an error.

It does the same thing for me,I think it's adblock on my pc though.I clicked around a little and now it worked but I had a hard time logging in.

The main login is now via a popup screen so a really aggressive adblocker might indeed block it. Turning it off for this site should solve it.

Not I, and I have Norton on my laptop that has warned me about other sites.

That's google's standard message these days for non-ssl sites. Might change it to ssl in the near future. In the meantime don't worry about it, login details are still encrypted.

I found out what causes the error. you probably entered through mymorningjacket.net instead of http://forum.mymorningjacket.net. make sure you update any shortcuts to http://forum.mymorningjacket.net
that should solve it.

Not sure what I did differently, but I was able to login the next day. Thanks for all the hard work you do on the forum.
you're now able to upload images to use as your profile image.
(click on your name in the top bar > forum profile)
don't worry about the max size, it will automatically resize.
Anyone else having trouble checking their messages? Seems like every time I click on my messages to check them I get a "loading....." message but they never actually load. Probably happens nine out of ten times I check, maybe more.

Worked for me as well.
the forum got upgraded again, minimal changes but some earlier bugs should be fixed.
if anyone encounters a problem or has a request for future updates let me know.
software upgrade later today so there could be some downtime.

yes mostly behind the scenes for now, but will look into some other user features soon too
