Quote04/29/2020 Friends!!! In times like these it feels more important than ever to come together. While we can't gather in person, we're excited to announce that over the coming months we will be streaming some videos of archival shows. First up, a live webcast of our show from Shaky Knees Festival 2016. Tune in Friday at 8pm ET on the My Morning Jacket Facebook and YouTube pages as well as at Nugs.tv. For each webcast, we'll be suggesting donations to a different beneficiary. Donations made during Friday's webcast will benefit Crew Nation, dedicated to extending a helping hand to the touring and venue crews who depend on shows and tours to make a living. Learn how you can support here.
As you may know, we've had a bunch of shows available for download on Nugs.net. They're now available to stream as part of Nugs.net's live music subscription service, almost all of which are also available in MQA 24-bit hi-res audio (available in the nugs.net hi-fi tier). In addition, two new shows are being added: our 2016 show from the Tivoli Theater in Chattanooga, TN as well as the Shaky Knees show (this will be available after the webcast concludes on Friday night). New shows from the band's extensive archives will be added to the service each month. For more information, check out our page at nugs.net. New subscribers can start a 30-day free trial and get instant access to stream our available archive.
(wasn't sure if this was best section so feel free to move to Band or another section if needed)

Hell yes!
the new Nugs show from Tivoli has an amazing setlist. I was at the next night in Asheville which was also a great show.
That Chattanooga show is an AMAZING memory for me. So excited to have it in such quality form!!! Thanks to the master Ryan Pickett for mixing it so well.
Hell yes!
about time, I was getting tired of dead and co shows lol
Thank you for doing this!!!! Friday nights just got a lot better.
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the best news in months. Thank you MMJ :drum:

I hope this rings true....
This is fantastic newss, been waiting for them to put those up on Nugs for a long time.
here's the direct link for the webcast tonight 8PM ET
Cannot wait for tonight!
Carl is such a badass.
Wow! This is shot beautifully. Lots of great angles, even a few okonokos esque from the audience.
Wonderful performance and all members of the band getting coverage.
That was pretty great.Camera work was awesome, sound was AWESOME, killer steam-purple rain-aeiou run there. Man I miss seeing this.
First off....that was AMAZING!!! Thank you Carl, Bo, Jim, Tom and Patrick. I really needed that. This quarantine desperately needed some MMJ!!
Second, you guys don't forget to donate to crew nation if you can. Me and three buds watched it together virtually and all donated.

Oh yes, it was awesome, cameras, sound, performance. The anticipation before this came on, almost felt like a real concert pre-show. Life in lockdown. So glad they did this.
My first show was MPP in 2015, no idea who they were, gf knew them and took me. Hooked before they even got to the OBH closer. Second show was Lockn 2016, this was a couple months before that. Loved this set. Like you said, miss seeing this.
That was awesome. Much needed.
I was lucky to be at 2 incredible shows at Iroquois Amphitheater the nights before this. 😊
for those who missed it, you can still watch it (for the time being)
Took a damn quarantine for them to finally release some live stuff? Shit I'll take it. Hope they release 12/29/17 and 12/30/17.
show was awesome, standard festival setlist but obviously stellar. Steam Engine gave me all the feels, especially when the confetti started blasting.
Quality was A+, makes me wonder if they had intention of releasing this show/DVD? I definitely think there was a reason why they dropped this show first.

It was released first because this is the weekend Shaky Knees was supposed to happen and got canceled. Shaky Knees is doing a virtual fest this weekend with sets from past years and MMJ kicked it off. I was at that show. Great festival show, although they shortly after followed it up at Lockn' which is maybe my favorite festival set from them I've seen.
What a show! I was very pleasantly surprised at the production quality too — this was definitely not your standard fest stream. Glad to see they really put some money and effort into it!
Great show! Enjoy!
Here is a 2.56 GB 1920x1080 (1080P) mp4 file of last night's webcast of MMJ @ Shaky Knees 2016.

Great stuff this show. Agree about the direction/camera work. Noticed that right away and really enjoyed some of alternate angles. Ready for more!
For anybody who listened, how's the Chattanooga show?

I really like it. To me any soundboard recording of MMJ is good, thanks Ryan. Highlights for me was a very piano laden "Rocket Man" "Strangulation" and "Carried Away" are always a pleasant surprise in the same set.
Shaky Knees was like getting a fix Friday. Just what the doctor ordered. What other shows are you hoping come out in the coming months? I'd love to see both Red Rocks shows 2016 and of coarse the Beacon shows. Super happy they're finally letting some of this stuff become available.

I was at the Chatt show so I'm biased but it's pretty incredible. Carried Away jam is INCREDIBLE (best sbd of it available), the Off the Record intro + outro is definitely my favorite rendition, and the setlist is pretty incredible (minus the New Life inclusion IMO but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ). mix is great too as always.

loved the overhead shots of Patrick. He was bouncing back there!
I just want to echo what others have said about the Shaky Knees stream. MMJ brought it as usual, and they were superb. The bonus was the amazing sound quality and camera placement, including above Patrick as parkervb just said. The editing was great.... it seemed they knew where to focus and when to focus and not make it too choppy. Sometimes the cutting is way too quick from thing to thing, but this was great and had a nice mix of the crowd and mr. and mrs. clarkwork!
Does anyone know how often these video streams will be happening? The post by the band just says "over the coming months". Would love it to be weekly but that may be wishful thinking.
any guesses as to the next stream? They definitely can't do it weekly but I was trying to remember different streams or broadcasts they've done. Gonna guess it will depend on the rights they negotiated to footage at festivals like Lolla, Roo and Lockn. Other than the fests, there is the KCRW show, the AXS broadcast from Red Rocks 2012/2015 (yes please)....
what else is out there that I am forgetting?

Circuital release show from Louisville? Hell, at this point I'd take simply streaming Okonokos
3 weeks later...

Here's the AXS show from 2012 that I put together using the saved video and the Soundboard Audio (also Unlisted)
This is my Unlisted video of the original live broadcast (so not cleaned up from original audio like the Shaky Knees show was but still pretty good).
any chance of releasing one of the may 2016 iroquois theatre louisville shows? was listening to the tape of the 5/13 show and it was just smoking. please take our money!
I dunno, when they said in the coming months they'll stream some stuff my expectations for frequency were pretty low.
