First time seeing our boys since moving from KY->STL in 2018. My last show was Nashville in 2017 and the lady's last (and only) show was the first night of Iroquois 2016. We're in Row D, just a bit to the Jim side of dead center! So excited!! Stifel is a great venue too imo

Edit:

Took in my TASCAM DR-05 Audio Recorder, spoke to Ryan Pickett about where to set up, recorded the whole show from the first row of the balcony dead center with only the Loge in front of me. Quick check of some of the songs while sitting in my hotel room, and it sounds pretty good. I have to drive back to Kentucky tomorrow afternoon and will start editing and will try to get it on Internet Archives by the end of the weekend. Also got video footage of Off The Record and In Color that I'll get paired up with my better audio as soon as I can.

Real good show!

Hey gang, I've been inactive because of Corvid and the lack of shows.

Last night was my 40th show (im over the hill now) and holy shit they blasted the roof off the theatre.

I was on Carl's side and he was into it.  He was into the pit being into it.

The fantastic human next to me was dressed as the bear. He gifted me a handmade key ring.

The set list speaks for itself.

Penny for your thoughts gives me Stones Vibes I fuckin love that tune.

Sorry to anyone I fell over on and spilled beer on it was one big holiday for me.

My Morning Jacket - In Color - Stifel Theatre - St. Louis - 11/2/2021

"In Color"

Tuesday, November 2, 2021

I've been working on improving the audio I taped with my TASCAM DR-05 by boosting it at different points using Audacity. My program has been giving me problems, but I think I've gotten most of the songs to the best possible level without being overdriven. I finished this one last night. I have good video of one more song and will work on it tonight or tomorrow. It may take me a bit longer than planned to get it split up into individual songs and get it on Internet Archives. Hope everyone enjoys this special song. This show did indeed Heal me. I've been doing a lot better these past 6 days.

Thanks for sharing. In Color was one of the many highlights of the night for me. It was good running into you and chatting before the show.

Sounds fantastic Mr. White, thanks for effort you put in. Looking forward to more, what a great version of In Color, my favorite song on the new album. Carl knocking it out of the park. Also great to hear your healing, these guys are good for the body and soul.

I drove into St Louis from KC to see the show. My first since New Year's run 2017. Was definitely worth the trip! 14th time seeing the band! Was nice that we got the first live performance of Penny.

I mislabeled the song I uploaded late last night. It's actually "Off The Record" instead of "In Color" again. This one turned out pretty good too. Maybe it's even better.

These two performances were recorded at the Stifel Theatre in the afternoon before that evening's show. They were just featured on CBS Saturday Mornings and are now available on YouTube. You can see the clock indicating it was around 4:15 p.m. They also had a pretty good interview with Jim and Patrick. Don't know if it will show up on the Interweb or not.

Saturday Sessions: My Morning Jacket performs "Love Love Love"

My Morning Jacket was formed by a group of childhood friends from Louisville, Kentucky. They've been making music together for decades – and nearly called it quits. But then they produced a new self-titled album and reclaimed what Rolling Stone calls "their mantle as retro-rocks top mystics." From their self-titled ninth studio album, My Morning Jacket performs "Love Love Love."

So that is why there were so many pro cameras at that show. They filmed the whole thing. I'm sure there is a GOOD reason they did. Sorry I missed you that night, but Yim Yodd called me out because I was wearing the shirt. He bought one also, but we never met before. I assume you did not go to Khruangbin the other night. I never heard of them 2 weeks ago, but I am so glad I went. Most unique band out there now in my opinion, even though they sound so familiar.

Hi!  Does anyone have a recording of this available for the Archives or to share?  I was so bummed to miss this show and was really hoping to listen to the whole thing. I've been checking the the Archives daily in hopes this one will pop up on there.  Would absolutely love to hear it.   Thanks
