Stoked, gotta be better than Wonderful Union (or whatever it was called).

Hopefully this indicates the release of some tour dates. I'll be at work, but I'd be interested to hear what they say on Discord tomorrow.

What is this NFT/Digital Wallet nonsense? No thank you.

I'm just happy that this has to mean there are still big things to come from the boys including albums and tours so bring it on!

Until this is an actual fan club that deals with the ticketmaster bs, this is a nothingburger. The tech for interacting with other fans is fine.

This seems pretty cool so far.  I'm all for it and hopefully it helps the ticket situation.  I like the fan art/merch idea submissions too.

I am pretty sure you don't have to do any of the NFT stuff if you don't want to.

Looks like we got our first email announcing a presale though OBF for some California dates (Berkeley Greek and Hollywood Bowl).  I'm very interested to see how this works out so please let us know how it goes for anyone who tries!

I'm on there as Darkstarflashes (free Discord account with no avatar) but don't know how much I'll interact with others there. I did post a picture from 4/20/2022 from the rail in Knoxville and a couple of my framed concert posters. Their "forum" of a sorts is on a thing called Discord, and it seems odd and a bit hard to maneuver through. I don't know. I just wish they would promote this Forum, the Real Forum, the Original Forum a little instead of just ignoring us here. When I went to the St. Louis show in 2021, I spoke to a band representative there who was handling the VIP stuff, and when I mentioned the Forum, she said she didn't even know it existed until earlier that day! Very odd. We are on our own.

Well said Mr. White. I am not on any form of social media and never will be! Always check this board though.

Guess I'll keep on living in the stone age.  :embarrassed:

While discord has its pros and cons, I will always check in here because I feel a special attachment to this forum and it definitely makes it easier to keep track of various topics.  discord is more a chat style site....

Same here.

I'll check in on the new place but this is where I'll always be.

I've met so many really great people over the years thanks to this place and it's where my heart is. No way I'm bailing out.

I'm with you, this forum has become pretty much a place for us diehards who don't do the social media stuff. Like ChiefOKONO says there's a special attachment to this place and it's easy to navigate (other then posting pictures) also like ericm I've met so many people out on the road due to this place, including you ericm at the Bloomfield shows and I would have met you Mr. White in Louisville last summer had the shows not been canceled. This will still be home to me too.

We need Yac to drop back by and show us how again. He posted the way to do it years ago but it's no doubt deep in the archives somewhere.

I'll see if I can find it and repost his instructions.

Oh man that's a classic. Remember the parking lot Guy on the golf cart who wouldn't let us drink in the lot? We all ended up piling into your car and boozing it up. Lol

First time I met Johnny too. We were walking around and he asks me if I thought it was ok if he smoked and I said Yac we're outside, nobody is going to care. Here I am thinking he's talking about a Marlboro until he breaks out a joint, and I just cracked up.

We could write a Forum get together coffee table book! Liner notes would be Ms. Yvonne and her hand written set lists and comments? I've got one in my signature.

Hey Forum gang! Long time, no posts. I hope everyone is doing well so far in 2023. This new One Big Family thing is a positive sign that the band remains active, touring lightly, and putting in some studio time. Still, I prefer this Forum and Roll Call as a fan club. Shout out to folks like Garrett Miller who established the One Big Family moniker. Like naming the previous fan club Roll Call, using OBF suggests they're still listening to fans (and stealing our ideas... MMJ oval sticker, anyone?).

I miss the Forum and the people who keep it going. Ever since my near-death surgery in 2014, I've spent less time online, but I do visit the Forum from time to time, more as a lurker these days.

Hello to Eric, Trish, Walter, John, ChiefOKONO, Ian, LBSUNFLWR, Mike, sillyboob, and everyone else visiting the Forum. I miss you all, here and at shows. Hopefully, something new gets announced soon. Love to all!

Hey John, good to see you here. Still got a couple of my MMJ oval stickers prominently placed (though not on my bumper  ).

Hope all is well and looking forward to the next time we can rock some more shows together. We've had a few for sure and when I think about them I think well that one was the best. Then another pops in my head and I think no that one was and on and on....

Glad we got to kick it off back in the day at Essex Jct and great Roll Calls. Here's to keeping that rocking forward.

Be well and see you further on up the road and hopefully here a bit more often too.

YES, Forum Faithful Coffee Table book!  That Essex Jct show still stands out for Bob and me as one of the most special! The whole vibe that day and night (except the SUPER STRICT Security) was just so wonderful.  I mean strict!  We were literally jammed into the car trying to sneak swigs of booze!  The beer garden at that venue kind of made up for it though!
Good to see you YAC ATTACK! Love you guys...NOW, when are we getting some dates dropped???
