Ya White Lotus was great! Walton Goggins is the man.

Hacks Season 4 is great. Hannah Einbinder is hilarious and her style is dope. Love it!

Quote from: APR on May 01, 2025, 09:48 AMI thought some might also find it cool that they played Squid Ink between the opening band and Pearl Jam hitting the stage in Florida both nights.
made it a point to pay attention, but alas, no squid ink for us last tuesday in nashville.

terrific show, but having seen the thursday setlist, i picked the wrong night. this was only my 11th PJ show, and i still haven't caught rockin in the free world.

and i'm not sure if it was the venue's acoustics or if my ears were damaged from 5 nights of MMJ, but the sound seemed a bit shrill, harsh.  minor complaint, fantastic time overall.  nashville rocks.

The Tapings / Columbus 2022 Kemba Show
Last post by hlawyer - May 08, 2025, 10:37 PM
I have been looking out for this show to surface and it has been almost 3 years since this show hasn't surfaced. Was there a taper at this show because I was at this show and it would be nice to have.

The latest One Big Family Pass is in honour of the 10th Anniversary of the release of Waterfall and it is the first Waterfall preview show at Headliners on April 6, 2015. The band debuted 7 songs from Waterfall on this night (the other 3 were debuted at OBH earlier that year) and also includes Down On The Bottom.

Quote from: Lonndown27 on May 05, 2025, 10:45 AMRIVER ROAD is so cool live and it makes me appreciate the studio version more. But I don't get why they didn't just go for it that way in the studio.

I can hear your love is still flat for me..

LEMME KNOW reached new heights when the power went out and the crowd kept chanting the chorus like it was a spanish ⚽️ match. It was glorious.

DIE FOR IT is only getting better. It's a total steambreathing experience of psychosexual exaltation.

The album just keeps getting better with more listening and the more we see these songs live. They're propulsive live. A lot more furious. I wish they could finally capture that In a record, but they did for moments here on the album that shocked me. They're getting closer!
100% agree.  I feel like this album coulda been a neat classic with a more fleshed out River Road, Die for It, and Beginning from the Ending.  It'd be like Z not allowing Lay Low and Dondante to stretch their legs...I hope the next album they combine the hood songwriting of "is" with the extended fun of self-titled.  Not all songs need 3-4 minutes of jamming, but when appropriate, they need to let them have some more time.  I guess O'Brien was not a fan of jamming.

Those Louisville set lists are very interesting. Some of it absolutely didn't work segue wise but the selection of songs and the openers like I THINK IM GOIN TO HELL and INTO THE WOODS worked masterfully as openers, especially to a crowd of die hard ready for it and wanting it.

A very very cool transition they could do with more energy and intensity as an opening twofer???
OUT IN THE OPEN > IF ALL ELSE FAILS new arrangement. They tried that on one of the Louisville nights in the middle of the show and it worked tastefully.

The performances of RIVER ROAD really are spectacular.
What a powerful new song.
I'm so excited I got tickets for Red Butte Gardens in August!!
