also - i have the SATs on Saturday morning. Any  good vibes would be appreciated for mono girl (who hates this entire system and also hasn't woken up before 10 AM in 6 weeks because of fatigue and lack of focus and will have to get up at 7 for the very first time to take a ridiculous 4-hour standardized test that says nothing about intelligence or, lets be real, anything at all except for test-taking-ability which is bullshit anyway)

Don't worry too much about it though.  I'm a lousy test-taker and I did horribly on my SAT's, but I still think my head is right on my shoulders.  Plus, you're young enough, right, that this isn't your last time to take them?  I thought people these days took the SAT's a few times before the final one that counts.  In any event, you are clearly a bright and talented girl and regardless of how you score you are already head and shoulders above most peeps.  :)

this is my second time, actually :) and if all else fails then i planned accordingly and woudl be able to (though would prefer not to) take them again next fall.

BONUS! i just found out that if i do poorly (or poor-er) then i get to get a doctors note that says that i had mono during my May SAT test blah blah blah. maybe mono isn't so bad...
didn't do so badly on the first time, but my parents're crazy about this sort of thing which is sort of a bummer. anyway thank you for the kind words, im' sure it'll be fine. it just sucks.

I've missed more than half of the last two weeks of work due to sickness.  Last week it was a throat infection, this week it's the flu.  I really don't mind staying in bed all day and watching Jeopardy, it's just the lack of $$$ that's really the killer.   :-/

i won a bonnaroo merchandise package here at our radio station (101.9 RXP NYC) and i finally got the chance to go pick up my goods today (i was quite excited) and it was a bag full of sh** a double disc bravery cd, NIN, and the kooks...!! what kind of bonnaroo package is that? they did throw in a bumper sticker (nice that i no longer drive a car) ...ah well. beggars can't be choosers---as well as radio listeners

the bright side, awaiting my listening party package-i'm sure i won't be dissappointed in that.

People are showing up out of nowhere and ACTING LIKING IMMATURE FUCKING ASSHOLES. Seriously folks, come on. You're bumming a lot of people out and pissing a lot of others off.

I really hope the boys in the band haven't been reading some of the shit that's been going back and forth and some of the complete asine stuff that is being said by others. This used to be a really nice place. Sure there were little spats here and there, but lately.....

have faith......the forum will surely chill out once the album is officially released and the tour is announced.  IMHO we all should practice self control, and ignore the ridiculous, responce-begging comments on the site.

I agree with Face and mj. And Corey and other people who've said similar things.
This has become a much less pleasant place to visit lately. At first I thought it was just me being too old fashioned/prissy/English but I don't think it is.

I've often seen new members come in all aggressive and offensive, then settle down to be really cool people, cyber friends, even, when they see that this isn't just any old forum. (Being an arsehole seems mandatory on some boards.) That's been really great.

It's not for me to tell people what to post but there's no harm in saying how I see things. I hope you're right, wizzard  :)
