So anyone around this place watch Lost? It is so weird and I am wondering what it all means! . I just have more and more questions that come up each week I watch it. Anyone got an ideas of what the truth may be????? ???

I LOVE Lost.  I'm hooked to the gills.  We watch it religiously, first time I've been hooked like this since the X Files.

I've heard many theories:

-everyone is dead and this island is purgatory
-the island is an experiement (could be, based on last nite's episode) and researchers are watching everything like rats in a maze
-loosely based on "Lord of the Flies" except everyone is an adult.
-the writers have obviously read Machiavelli's "The Prince"

Last night was a great episode. I hope they find the tape of Michael shooting Ana Lucia and Libby. I mean he probably just did it so that he could get Walt back from the "others", but still. Poor Hurley.

I think the "others" were in the experiment and some bad stuff went down. Now they are stuck on that island.
That is just my theory this week though. Next wee I will probably change my mind.

So, I think the Others are using Michael.  They told him they'd give him Walt if he'd release Henry and lead the survivors to them (it's a trap).

Interesting to see that the the two women that got busted and convicted of drunk driving were the ones that got killed off. I heard rumours of Michelle Rodriguez (Anna Lucia) getting killed off (due to her geniuine difficult and bitchy attitude on set even before the drunk driving conviction), but seeing Libby taking a couple of bullets surprised me -although everyone that gets close to Hurley ends up either dead or maimed.

i won't miss Anna Lucia at all, i never thought she brought much to the show. Plus the fact that she killed Shannon.

I'm just glad Eko didn't die this week, the commercials had me worried.

yeah, the dorks over at the lost messageboard (yes count me as one of them) said the same thing, that libby and ana lucia got killed off due to their DUI's.  

and I agree with both of you;  AL was a real bitch and I didn't see her character's point, or what her motivations were.  that whole "I'm leading everyone at gunpoint across the jungle" series of a couple episodes almost lost me as a viewer.  her voice, her dialog, and the whole bitchy character was just fucking pointless.

It will be cool to see how John Locke plays into all of this.
