hi lovelyfaces  :)
i need some remedies for getting your voice back.  i had a brutal cold last week and all the coughing took away my voice yesterday.  and it's back a little today, but i need to have it back for tomorrow.

does anyone remember what that stuff is that jim always drinks - is it honey and water and lemon?  because i've been doing that (on everybody's recommendation) and i think it's makin' it worse.

i've also been: maxxxxing on vitamin c (the fizzy fast-absorbing kind), zing lozenges and thayer's slipper elm.  

what do you guys do??? xoxo

i lost my voice in a horrible porn style way a few months ago and i drank lemon juice mixed with warm water. gargling is not the best thing, i discovered, because i was using so many muscles down there and it was just as bad as talking. sounds like you are doing a lot of good things so far. i'm sending good vibes your way

hahaha oh god. i mean, i lost my voice from coughing and then sounded like a porn star, perhaps a husky celeb from a 900 line. i didn't lose it doing porn-style actions. JEEZ sickos

thanks y'all.  i think it's going to be ok.  i can't talk too nice, but i can make the sounds i need to (with a little porn on the edges), and i'm taking work off tomorrow and not talking again for a whole other day.  kind of feel like a monk. :)
