You guys know what? I wrote that message that he was sick last year and he's still doing relatively well! He scared the hell out of us. I didn't realize that an entire year has gone by... the vets told us to be cautious when estimating how long he would live. They weren't sure he was going to make it much longer.

And now a year later, he is hanging in there, taking his medicine every day like a good boy. I cherish the rest of the time we have together. Thank you guys for your good thoughts - they worked!

This year, if I may be so bold, I would like a trip to Philadelphia and a 160GB iPod.  :D
