Heels are lookin' GREAT!!  I know it was against a 16 seed and all, but I think we just sent a message to the other #1 seeds by putting up 113 points (that includes points by our 3rd string after being put in with 4:12 seconds left).  

My brackets sure took a beating tonight though :-/

THIS is the best time of the year, not the bowl season or the super bowl or the world series.,etc.. My mom (she's 76) is in town and we have been watching the tourney as far back as I can remember (our first was watching Indiana beat Michigan for their undefeated season in 76. I was actually pulling for Michigan b/c I liked Ricky Green)
and we spent 5 1/2 hours in front of the TV last night and we're about to do another 8 or so today (and tomorrow).

I really do hope we win tomorrow, obviously, but I've never EVER been to an NCAA tournament game which I'm REALLY looking forward to.  Especially since two schools from North Carolina will be playing while I'm there.

And, hey, it'll be fun to see Georgetown in person...Roy Hibbert and all.

Fuck Duke. I hope North Carolina loses. I hope to the god that doesn't exist that the Raptors don't draft Hansbrough. He'll be an NBA role-player and not a star, so screw anyone who thinks he's a lottery pick.

Hell yes, I would LOVE to see Washington State beat Carolina...hell, I'd love to see all the PAC 10 teams get into the Final Four. As a conference they've done pretty well, with 3 teams in the Sweet Sixteen (I think the Big East also has 3 in still). Tough games coming up though, except for UCLA (hopefully they'll just roll over W KY).

I thought my bracket was ruined...I mean, it was. It is. But somehow it's not ruined enough and I'm up near the top :o I think the two number twos going down early fucked a lot of people (me included). Those 13s rolling through too...gotta love this tournament.

Let me answer that question for Gregg:  Uh, great!  My team played their best game of the season at my first NCAA tourney game and I got to see this year's Cinderella take down mighty Georgetown as a bonus.

I guess the ACC does suck this year after all.

The games were awesome!!!  It was amazing watching the Davidson game.  The crowd was insanely loud (especially in the last 3 minutes), and of course the Carolina game was awesome...and BoS was right about getting to see them play at 115%.

It was a magical few hours though.  If you ever have a chance to go to ANY NCAA tournament games, I would strongly recommend it.  Best sporting atmosphere I've ever been a part of, hands down.
