this makes me want to drink so bad, damn you evil lucky bastards and bastettes.  damn this body, beer tastes good, I miss it so.  have fun you drunky buttsluts.  the mmj in detroit will be my one year anniversary of not drinking basically. Oct 4th.  Oct 7th 07 @ the Smashing pumpkins concert was the last time I drank, I got kicked out half way through for dancing in the aisle and giving the usher a "hard time", I think it was racism.  I wanted to get down and I had end seat, row N, dead center.  I mean what the fuck would you do, every time I was out there corgan was looking right at me, it was cool.  I really thought the show fucking sucked though, at least what I saw.  poor billy.  maybe if it was the true pumpkins that vibe would be there but it was just wasn't the same feeling, felt like he is just using the name to sell his solo shit now. whatever, she saw I was smoking a joint and I go "what joint" throw it on the floor and she picks it up.  I had two more joints in my shirt pocket so ditched them real quick because I didn't know where she was taking me.

up at the front by the doors was a cop and a lady, this bitch tells some bullshit story about me dancing and causing trouble and then slams this roach down on the table in front of the cop.  being completely hammered I look at the cop, look at the roach, grab the roach and launch it towards the garbage can making a perfect swish, then I ran, and I ran until it was safe.  oh to drink again would be so wonderful, I'm sure my liver is diggin the recovery time.  have fun be safe.

QuoteDrinking a Boddington's or a few actually tonight. Lost again in softball and getting asswhiped by my wife in Wii.

I like Boddington's. It is a nice little change from Guinness when I am on one of my British kicks.

I've never had Boddington's.  Is it similar to Guinness?

Boddington's is an ale, Guinness is a stout. I love them both but they're quite different in taste IMO...people who don't like Guinness may like Boddington's because it isn't as bitter, therefore maybe easier to drink?

They both make a lovely pint  :)
God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

DB-be sure to try some of our domestic IPAs when you come. Anything from the Northwest or Northeast probably would be pretty good. They are some of my faves right now.

Thanks very much TEO, any brands I should be on the lookout for?  :)

Currently pounding Guiness. Second night in a row. That can't be good for me.

Yeah, I've had this really great hot weather beer plan the past couple weeks. I put this big glass mug and one can of Miller Lite in the freezer. After the beer has froze, I pour two other cans of ML into the frosty mug, and then cut open the can of frozen beer to pour into the mug. The liquid beer stays cold under the floating beer iceberg (which melts by the time you get to the bottom). Ahhhh, that's refreshment!

Brilliant!  Hope all is well.

Holy hell Bill, that's brilliant!

that sounds like some work at the same time... let me read that when I don't have a buzz and it may sound like a feasible idea.

the next step is to name it; I suggest you name it when you're done   ;)

pawpaw

Hey guys...yeah, it's a pretty sweet way to drink beer, and I'm doing pretty well otherwise. As far as naming it...it's really not mine to name. As far as I know, my friend invented it...but until he names it himself, I'll call it the General Sherman, in his honor.

Hey vespa, the move went fine, and we're starting to feel settled. I haven't had Bulleit for a couple years, but yeah, it's damn tasty stuff.

Since I'm not big on fireworks and I really don't feel like sitting outside getting divebombed by 'squitos, I'm just sitting here chillin with a Guinness. Again. I've pretty much been drinking several a day for the last few weeks. I'm pretty much addicted.
