I watched a little of the 1st half and most of the 2nd half. I was really pulling for the 49ers. I wanna see Singletary succeed.
I think maybe Martz called those 2 running plays as a way to get back at Singletary for wanting to change over to more of a SmashMouth game, rather than an air attack game for the team. I'm probably totally wrong about that, but WTF?!?!?! If they were gonna run that play, it should have at least gone to Gore.

Yeah I mean its one thing to run it once with "Gore..who if stayed on his feet would've walked in but to run it with the backup RB from like the 2.5 yrd line is a little ridiculous.  At least take a shot once, let your QB scramble a little.

before the season started; my neighbor and I bought jets-dolphins tickets for the last game of the season... neither of us thought it could be potentially the most important game both teams play this year.  Of course, being a dolphins fan, I'm nervous about being in the middle of a sea of green.

As if the NFL was short on cash, these Thursday night pay-for-view games are a joke.

Pete Rozelle and Lamar Hunt are rolling in their graves.

I love my DirecTV for the fact that it carries NFL Network.  :)

I was bored last thurs and ended up ordering it....Its not bad only like $7.99 a month and you get Turner Classic movies and a few other college football channels...but yeah I'd prefer it was on regular TV.

Jets-Pats should be a good game tonight.

When the Steelers play thursday night, local programming still shows it. Does it work that way for everyone else?
That's motherfuckin' John Oates!

Yeah i'm in Boston and the Pats are on local tonight.

It didn't work for us that way in Cincy (or that's what I heard).  I also remember GB fans being pissed they couldn't watch a Packers game in GB.  But that was last year, maybe things have changed.

I used to hate the NFL network when I didn't have it.  Now I LOVE it!!!

Steeler fans would riot on the streets if a game was only televised on NFL Network.

I don't know how the NFL network works.  I have been told that thurs nights games are exclusive but i'm in Boston and it was on locally.  If it wasn't there would no doubt be a riot.  I can't imagine not being able to see your team in your city.  I just saw something where in Detroit you can't even see the games on sundays because they don't sell out or something?  so weird.

I know you can buy field pass and watch any game online- sometimes they have free ones on nfl.com.  big time showdowns are often in that category. its crazy not to show the games on sundays in your city... but i'm a miami fan in jets and giants country... i never get to see the games on tv

those are called blackouts.  If a game doesn't sell out it's not shown in that market even if the rest of the country gets to see it.  I lived in Cincy for years when the team was god awful and not selling out games.  For years, the only games I would get to see were their road games and when they played Cleveland (because we always sell out that one).  Those don't have anything to do with NFL network.

Giants Huge Win!  Man can they run the ball.  Later Brandon Jacobs was at the Knicks game and they asked him what it was like to get hit by Ray Lewis.  He said "I don't know".  haha....sucks he got taken out before he could've got 100 yards but Bradshaw and Ward picked up the slack.

Steelers 11
Chargers 10
First ever 11-10 score in NFL history. A bizarre ending with Polamalu appearing to break up a desperation lateral, and taking it in for a touchdown to make the game 17-10. One of the laterals was called illegal (bullshit) wiping out the touchdown.
