serpent mound, about 29 miles south of my house.  best known effigy earth mound in the world.  we really only have speculation as to who built it and absolutely no idea why (its not a burial mound).  its an amazing place, very energetic.

Quoteyo dragon, how about a little info (in English, my Japanese in rusty) about these photos. They're awesome!

It says on the website that the photographers name is Kotaro Shibakoen but my wife thinks that's a pseudonym.
It would seem that photography is his profession & that these pictures are his hobby.
There is no explantion as to how he finds these derelict places or why they have been left as they are. Also, he does not give the exact location of any of the sites which suggests that they are actually closed to the public & that he was not supposed to have been there.

This is an old theme park somewhere in the North of Japan. Under each pic there is a comment by the photographer. For example, under the 2nd pic he explains that he climbed up & walked along the rails to take the picture. He loves the view from the 3rd pic & the 4th pic makes him think of God.

This is a small island of the South coast that is now uninhabitated. In the photos you can see a factory, school & hospital etc.

This is an uninhabitated village somewhere near Tokyo?!!
(I just told my wife I would love to visit this place, she said I can go by myself because it looks too scary for her...)

Not sure if any of what I have written is of any help, sorry to take up so much space  :)
God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

OK, when I was a senior in high school, my best friend had a 1969 Chevy Kingswood Estate station wagon. We were in Florida for spring break (25 years ago?  :-/) and I painted this on the back door panel with a stick, a pair of tighty whitey underwear, and white paint stolen from a construction sight.
