Yes.  The filming is spectacular on any television.  Well, your's is color right?
Barely.   ;D  Nah, it's decent, just not high-def/widescreen/amazing/etc.

It's Armageddon Week on the History Channel...for real, any show they do on the potential end of days is awesome, and now I get a week of it!  Woo!

dragonboy

God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

Has "Always Sunny in Philadelphia" been brought up yet? I'm a late comer but I've been catching up on the past seasons the last week or so... so funny!

Yep, The Wire is the best drama series I've ever watched.  Finished season 2 last night, starting on 3 tonight.

Excellent to see you all hoping on the Sunny train!  I'm a bit disappointed with season 3, but it's still great.

Is the second series of Extras out on dvd already?

Haven't been able to find it in shops here.

It sure is, been out for a couple months (here anyways).  There's a 'giftset' of season one and two being released in January as well.

It's out. I had it in my hands yesterday in Toronto. I believe it's been out for a number of weeks or even a month. Although I believe K, that Sergio isn't from the Uk or North America, so it may not be available in Belgium just yet. Oh well, there's always Tintin  ;)

Extras Series 2 was released on DVD back in Mar in the UK.

I just got Peep Show Series 1, 2 & 3 on DVD - hilarious!!!

db, you ever seen Little Britain?  I've heard great things about it, but never watched it myself.

dragonboy

I couldn't see what all the fuss was about at first but then it really grew on me & now I've got all 3 seasons on DVD + the live DVD (not so good)

Mighty Boosh is another favorite of mine (& Ali's) from the UK to look out for.

Since you are talkin' about "relatively" recent British comedies, none are funnier (or crazier) than The League of Gentlemen: http://www.bbc.co.uk/comedy/leagueofgentlemen/
