QuoteIn the Burgh, were lucky if 1 good band comes per month.

Well just like my luck, 2 bands Id like to see are both coming tomorrow. So it's a decision between:

Kings of Leon vs. Felice Brothers

Its a tough decision, although the $50+ after charges ticket prices for KoL, plus parking, plus beverages is making it a lot easier compared to the $13 Felice Brothers tix, free parking, and cheaper drinks.

Should be a good night nonetheless

Go to the Kings man. We saw them in SAC open for Dylan that made us check the tour and head to KC and the VooDoo Room at Harrahs. Get it together man ;)
Not the one thing. I used to think I
could at least some way put things right.

And was this this year or what?? I like the new KoL album (thanks Penny  ;)) but after getting their earlier albums, I like those a lot more and would rather hear the majority of songs from them - which I know aint happening.

And like I said, the KoL show will probably cost me $80 or more when its all said and done. Felice Brothers will cost me $30 tops.

Have you heard the Felice Brothers?! I know a few people here swear by their live shows, and this is a venue where Im sure itll be a good time.

You were definitely 1 of those people I was talking about when I said members who swear by the Felice Bros shows  ;D  ;)

Its a hard decision, but the venue and cost are definitely favoring the Felice Bros

I haven't seen them since Simone (one of the brothers...the drummer) stopped touring with them.  He mentioned he'll be doing one off shows here and there, so maybe you'll luck out as he brings an incredible amount of energy to their sets.

I loved Kings of Leon's first album, but my interest waned big-time after that.

Tickets to KOL in Aus last month were a bit over $90! I never had any intention of going, but that price really shocked me. My ticket to Neil Young was $110ish, but for obvious reasons (and totally worth it).

They still put on a pretty great show without Simone.  I'd go see them over KoL any day.  Not even a question, and I like KoL a decent amount.
if it falls apart or makes us millionaires

MMJ is always worth the 50+ for a ticket. They play for 3 1/2 hours! And they usually don't waste your time with an opening band anymore.

I walk out to my car for lunch and am thinking why are a couple of the managers and this lady hovering around my car, only to find out as she was trying to park, she hit my car and dented, chipped, and scratched up the rim above my front passenger wheel.

Turns out she was actually going to drive away apparently, but someone else turned her in. I got her information, but I dont know if Im really going to go through the process of insurance and all that stuff (if I would have to pay anything, I defintiely wouldnt, but I dont think I would). Its not all that bad really, but its a nice car (audi A6 quattro), but its also 10yrs old with 123,000 miles and I think the tranny might not be lasting more than a year or 2.

Anyway, I mean, who hits a god damn parked car?! dont most people stop - go in reverse and straighten out - then go back into drive to pull into a parking space straight?? I mean, I guess that would take a whole 5 seconds instead of trying to squeeze into a spot and damage someone else's car.

God damn women drivers.

She even had the audacity to say "you know, I was thinking these parking spots were smaller than normal ones too", and in my head Im just thinking "hey lady, you drive a freaking Toyota Seqouia, its like a god damn battleship. and you think the spaces are smaller? maybe youre car is just too large for you to handle"

This is the universe telling you if you keep saying shit like "God damn women drivers" then you will continue to suffer at the hands of "God damn women drivers".

So, go ahead, post another YouTube clip of "God damn women drivers" and then count the days until you suffer again.

Figure it out.

If you dont think women drivers are worse than men, I dont know what to say. The stupid stuff that drivers do is 90% women, and no I dont have facts, Ive just seen enough stuff in person, on TV, or on youtube.

I guess she must have done something bad so karma had her car run into another one as well.

Im glad you talk to the stars

it's the universe, not the stars. And the universe speaks, you just have to be very, very quiet.

You could start with your idea that "the stupid stuff that drivers do is 90% women."

This is not true. At all. On any level. There is a reason you do not have facts to back this up because it is untrue (like most of what you say here is without fact). However, this might be the experience for you, so, I'd start there. Start with reality and then listen why you have a need to distort reality, willing your perceptions (however wrong and misguided they are) to come true.

Now shhhhhhhh........    listen.

hear that?
