I hate weddings where I KNOW the couple is not getting married because they are crazy for each other, but because they simply don't know what else to do.

Trust me I am not a bitter singleton (I'm all for love), but I am very confused about the wedding I am attending tomorrow.

Thats too bad- it seems that people don't really get it anymore, getting married (or having a wedding) has become very much a "i guess this is the next step", reluctant event.  I'm not for the religious ties to marriage, more for the spiritual connection between two people.  I hope that the trend shifts upward and people don't get married just to do it- or because the girl is pregnant, or any other reason other than complete unconditional love for the others soul.

my wedding next year is going to be a party all about lovin one another!  I'd invite you all but between our two huge families- there simply isn't enough room :(  Though we will be playing some MMJ fer sure

*side note:  I was at a wedding not too long ago talking with someone who is getting divorced.  Funny comment out of the serious conversation: "You married for Love".  Well.....that is the only reason I would consider marriage (which we celebrated our 3rd year of marriage this July and now is the 8 year anniversary of our first kiss and official start of our relationship).  But it is more than love (or maybe this is just my definition of love, i dunno).  I knew the moment I met my husband that he was the one.  Not "the one" who would be my husband (but I am super stoked he turned out to be my hubby), but he was and is "the one" with whom I connect.  Who I trust.  Who makes me want to be a better person.  Who makes me laugh, and is there when I cry.  My equal in this crazy world.  

:) Very very nice! I know exactly what you are saying- [highlight]its more than an emotion its almost like an instinctual feeling when you come in contact with a person.  [/highlight]Everyone always says "I'm looking for the one" but many people don't really understand what it is.

Damn, that's sucks to hear.  You guys looked so great together.  I'm certainly in no position to tell you guys what to do and I definately don't know all of the facts, but if you really both love each other, don't give up TOO easily.  Love doesn't necessarily come around all that often.

Im sorry, but speed limits are about 10-15 MPH too slow on any road where the Limit is 45MPH or higher. Its ridiculous. I can easily drive 85MPH on a highway and have perfect control of my vehicle and awareness of my surroundings.
