totally bummed I didn't score Ween tickets for their show in Royal Oak.  Didn't realize they were playing here and now all I can find is scalpers seats   :'(  hopefully my friend can score some tickets somehow.  It is a joke trying to find tickets to a concert anymore.  Ticketmaster blows it doesn't even register that they're playing a show.  At least before you could check to see if a show was sold out.  Not anymore.  I might go down there anyway, Ween is too amazing to miss.

I have much faith in the boognish, it's more of a frustration for the degradation of the ticketing system for concerts.  Do people even wait in line anymore for tickets on the onsale date?  I pick tickets up at the ticketmaster place occasionally but never camp out.  not since like 97.   Then after shit went online it was fine for a bit.  Pearl Jam pitched a fit but other than that not much to complain about.  I remember in high school, waiting, hitting F5 for rage against the machine tickets and I ended up scoring floor.  later found out floor sold out in under a fucking minute.  Side note, that was the first show I saw somebody pass out at.  He was a huge fucking dude, fell flat on his back at least twice before security took him out of there.  Bummer for him.

Now I've gotta tell this story while I remember it.  At the Drive In was the first opener, they had HUGE afros at the time.  later after pure chaos broke loose one of the dudes from at the drive in was in the most pit getting his ass beat. It was crazy.  Skin heads everywhere.

but whatever those days are over.  the days of the fans who puts in effort to get great tickets is over.  they don't start at A and go to Z anymore and it pisses me off.  The only place I couldn't find tickets was Livenation and Ticketmaster.  It's completely fucked.  I'm not going to break for these fuckers.  Let them cancel the tours and reformat and lower prices.  having a platinum card shouldn't matter when it comes to where you sit at a concert.  first come - first serve... bitch.

Hope isn't lost, just frustrating.  I honestly can't believe I didn't see that tour date.  I remember they had texas dates but they must have added later or something.  barf. oh well, this purple pine tree isn't purple but it's pretty bomb.   HApPy COloReD MaRBlEs.

walking into work first thing on a monday morning and having to listen to 300 lb middle aged black women talk about their sexual exploits from the weekend as loud as they possibly can.

My music will go on forever. Maybe it's a fool say that, but when me know facts me can say facts.

I'm sorry you're feeling blue.

Here's the song that comes to mind when I hear that someone is sad, though its a version both touching and funny, to cheer you up.

I didn't want to comment on jYY's post initially because it would be out of place but 1st of all, why is it funny man? >:( ;)

I've sung karaoke a fair number of times in Japan.  I spent a summer working their for my mom's cousin in '98.  On my last day, my coworkers threw me a karaoke party.  They all sung in Japanese but I had to sneak in one tune in English.  Of course it was a masterful rendition of Blidge Obah Tlubaad Uwotaah.   [smiley=beer.gif]

Now I can't tell if I actually offended anyone or not.  I admit, "blidge" and "flend" cracked me up, yet there's no denying that these cats nail it and have some talent.

When I saw Soulshine was blue, I thought of the tune, did a search on YouTube, and this came up pretty quick.  Note my original description, both "touching" and "funny."  Sorry if I offended anyone. :-[

Cool, Ruckster.  The problem with typed communication is you can't always be sure how to read what's written or how best to decipher emoticons.  That, and I admit worrying about folks misinterpreting my post.  I'd like to think people around here know not to be offended by me, however.

Yac, I was offended by how much you told me I could sell my dignity for NYC T5 tickets. I'm mean c'mon man, how could you think I would charge someone THAT much.  ;)

I've been on this nigh-empty bus for three hours, folded like a pretzel into my seat (I got a lotta leg) literally getting rugburn on my knees from the scratchy carpeted seats...and I just got up to walk around and noticed there are seats waaaaay in the back with tons of legroom!  WTF.   ;D

On a positive note, I get to see my whole fam-damily today. It's my parents' 40th anniversary  :)
