Oh, Trish.  Big hugs.  Big hugs, my dear.

My boss was treated last year for prostate cancer and is doing great- here's hoping your dad has a similarly speedy treatment and recovery.

*waves at woodnymph* hey lady!  Haven't seen you in a minute! How's Asheville?

trish, i'm so sorry to hear that.  that's not something anyone ever wants to hear.  my thoughts & prayers are with you, your dad & your family.  a co-worker of mine was diagnosed in the summer & is doing very well now.  it's hard, but try to stay positive.  big hug, lady.

I'm sorry Trish, but both my parents are testament to the fact that the big C doesn't always lead to the big D.  Still, its tough and my thoughts are with you and your dad.

i'm so sorry, trish! just went through all those tests with my dad. like everyone said, it's one of the most treatable kinds  :) :( my thoughts are with you and Bobster and your fam.

Work has been insufferable this week and trying to juggle a million things at once, including family illness. No fun!  :-\

Just once in my life I want to win a NCAA tourney bracket pool.  I watch college hoops incessantly, and every year I think this is my year.  I entered 5 pools this year, still nothing.  Just once, is that too much to ask?  :'(

Post birthday hangover.  :P

I had one of those yesterday!  And it wasn't even my birthday.  go figure.

Current (and recurring) complaint:  my internet at home.  I really need to send a bunch of music to a bunch of people (you know who you are) but I can't upload anything!  Grr.  It either exceeds my daily limit or times out due to slow speed.  I used to do it at work but I got a virus on my work computer and can't chance screwing anything else up.  I need to just man up and buy a laptop so I can take the computer to a place with better internet.
We could.
