The good thing about it is I have a handful of great friends, and I know who they are. I have the best friends you could ask for. When I was younger, I thought everyone I socialized with in school was a good friend, and that will never be the case. You'll figure out soon enough who your real friends are.

well i knowwwwwww. and i'm realizing that, and there are certain people who i socialize with and consider "friends" who i know are nothing but "fillers". and that sounds terrible, to some degree, but it's the truth.  but there are certain friends who i look at and know that a relationship will go beyond high school, and i feel quite confident about it.  and he fell into that category, actually. but what do i know. life is just so silly sometimes. :-/

Although I don't mind spending time alone I'm getting very tired of being alone all the time.  It would be nice to have some company sometime.   I was supposed to meet someone today who completely blew me off.  I called an hour before we were supposed to meet to make sure I was going to the right place, left a voice mail and have never heard back.   :-[  It's mostly annoying because I was pestered for my phone number and once he got that he pestered me for a date and then he stands me up?

oh bug, i'm sorry.  boys can be so dang stupid sometimes.  well, at least you know from the get go that he's kind of lame, instead of finding out months later after you fell in love with him!  ;)

my complaint is that a whole bunch of things went wrong today.
but i'm really trying to let it all go and still be good within it.














i'm sure the bottle of wine i'm about to drink will help. ;)

I had about 10 things go wrong at work today 25 minutes before I was supposed to leave.  I finally got things wrapped and out of there about 45 minutes later.  Then I went to Ear Xtacy hoping to get a White Stripes 7inch and a poster but they were out of 7 inches and wouldn't let me have a poster because I didn't buy a White Stripes CD or Album :(  I already had the CD because I did a preorder thingy to get a free 7 inch picture disc.  I still bought some CD's but I was kind of pissed off.  I probably spend $100 a month there, they couldn't give me 1 poster?

the dumbass woman at the plasma center missed my vein, then she had other people come over to try to fix the problem which only included shoving the needle farther in to my arm.  then they decided to try the left arm (which i never use because of the shitty veins in that arm) and it hurt like a motherfucker when they put the needle in.  i still got the money even though i couldn't donate, but i would have rather donated because it never hurts as much as my arms do now.   >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

Here (the UK) you don't get paid for donating anything but semen (well not you or me, bug, obviously).
You can get paid to take part in medical research trials, and I believe they target students.
I knew some people who got paid to have their stomachs pumped. I wouldn't have my stomach pumped for a gold pig  :P

yeah, the one i go to is in a college town, and they are always sooooooo busy.  the machine they use separates the plasma and the blood is returned back in to your vein.  it's pretty not bad when they know what the fuck they're doing.  i guess pretty much everyone has experienced what happened to me today, and they say it does happen but not very often at all.  trials and tribulations i guess....

That's interesting. Here you just give the whole blood and they separate it later for different recipients. Hope your arm's better soon ratsprayer.

So, my boss knows I'm leaving this morning... so what does he do? Loads me down with a bunch of heavy labor kind of shit. So, here I am throwing huge stacks of paper around, trying to frame and package a framed piece of art, all of this, knowing full well he's erased the settings that I put on our air conditioning so that it won't cut on until it's 78 degrees... The downstairs air doesn't even work, so I'm getting drafted air from upstairs (yeah, right)... it's 83 degrees, now.

I'm just pissed off. I don't want to work myself to the point where I'm sweating my balls off 10 minutes before vacation...

#@$&*! :( I can't find my fantabulous pirate-wench costume that I was gonna wear to the airport tomorrow morning to pick up my boyfriend! I had it all planned out to wear it and carry a sign that says: AAAAaaarrrrrr-on! (Get it? his name is Aaron and I'm a pirate.....)  Oh, it would have been great.  Grrr, I hate that I moved into this tiny little apartment and all my stuff is crammed into so many corners and storage units that it's virtually impossible to find anything.  I should give up being such a pack rat.

At least I know where my camping gear is.  Not that I'm using RIGHT NOW!  Grrr again.

I went out last night and a random guy in a crowd stopped me to talk to me. In the course of our brief conversation he slammed me three times. He told me that I was boring, too nice and too sweet because I was in the teaching profession. I was weird because I played Ultimate Frisbee in college, and that I was lame because I have a guitar that I don't really know how to play yet. Pissed me off!!!
